On The Clock (Book 2)

Chapter 7: We Won

As it was that it was clear that Xavier still was not all too happy right now. I kind of felt like it was about that time that it kind of seemed like I needed to break the ice. As to just why it was that he was in fact not all too happy by the fact that we had in fact actually won our first game.
And as to the fact that it was that we did not any longer have a losing record. Which I was not all too sure as to just how much longer that was going to last, never the less. As it was clear to me that it was that the team that we had in fact just played, all at the exact same time too, never the less. Was in fact a very awful team, all at the exact same time as well.
I was not all too sure as to just how many other wins we were in fact going to get for the rest of this season, all at the exact same time too. So I was not all too sure as to just why it was that Xavier was not celebrating. Whilst it was that we could in fact celebrate, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of felt like I gave up guessing as to just why it was that it might in fact be the case, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it always seemed like he was always mad at some thing, for the fact that it was that it was not good enough, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
I kind of let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I then did in fact get my eyes off of the road, all at the exact same time too, all at once. As I just then in stead, did in fact just seem to get my eyes right on to Xavier's eyes, all at the exact same time too.
As I kind of just seemed to hold on to his eyes, for just a little bit more time, all at the exact same time too. As I knew that he could see me doing as such a thing from the corner of his eyes, all at the exact same time too. As I saw that he kind of turned his head a little bit, so that it was that he could get his main focus on the road, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
I was a little bit annoyed by that being the case, if it was that I was not going to lie to my self either. But at the very least, I knew as to the fact as to just what it was that it had meant. As I knew that he was in fact paying attention to me, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to realize that it was that it was in fact the case, all at the exact same time too, at that. That was when I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead. And I just then did in fact seem to start to continue to speak to him, all at once. As I knew that it was that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I did in fact feel like I did in fact even have to say to him in the very first place any ways, at that.
"Why are you so upset? Why can't you be happy that we won the game?" I said to him, all at the exact same time too, all at once. As I kind of just seemed to have my arms tied together, all at the exact same time as well. As it kind of seemed like I was pouting like it was that I was a little kid, all at the exact same time too, at that.
I kind of just did my best to try to not have that be the case, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I kind of just seemed to put my arms down, all at the exact same time too. As I simply just seemed to continue to stare at Xavier, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to continue to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that. That was when he just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, at that. And I just then did in fact seem to start to hear him begin to start to speak back to me.
I was a little bit relieved as to the fact that it was that he had in fact seemed to break the silence at the very least. But I still was not all too sure as to the fact as to just how happy I was as to the fact that it was that what it was that was even going on right now. As I felt like I could not help but to be upset as to the fact that it was that it did in fact seem like he was in fact upset at me right now, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to continue to stare at Xavier right in to his eyes for just a little bit more time, all at the exact same time too. That was when I just then did in fact seem to start to nod to him. Which I knew that he had seen from the corner of his eyes never the less. As it was clear to me that right now, that I was in fact paying my full attention as to just what ever it was that he felt like he even needed to say to me right now, never the less.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to see him do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, all at once. That was when I just then did in fact seem to start to continue to hear him, as he just seemed to continue to speak to me, at that. As I of course just then did in fact seem to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say right on back on over towards me, all at the exact same time too, never the less, at that.
"Look... The way you played the offense at the end was terrible... If the team we were playing was even some what decent, they would have killed us at the end... And a real clutch player... He doesn't miss free throws like you did there... Those players win rings, what you did is not ring worthy..." He said to me, all at the exact same time too, never the less, as the way that it was that it had in fact just seemed like he had said to me, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
It almost seemed like he was acting like I was a grown adult, and that I was not 14 years old, all at the exact same time as well, at that. As I kind of just seemed to let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, at that. As I kind of just seemed to get my mind, and my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff that it was that I had in fact just seemed to even be thinking on long before now, never the less, at that.
I kind of just seemed to stand there, and I kind of just seemed to stare at Xavier right in to his eyes, all at the exact same time too. As I knew that what it was that he was getting at, and that he only wanted me to grow up. He only just wanted the best from me, all at the exact same time too, at that.
But I still could not help but to feel like I was in fact a little bit upset by it, and that I was in fact a little bit frustrated by it, all at the exact same time too, never the less. As I kind of just seemed to shake my head a little bit to my self, all at once, at that. And I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that.
And I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead and begin to start to speak to him, all at the exact same time as well. As I felt like I was not just going to give up, and give in to this just yet. As I at least felt like I wanted to be some what happy as to the fact that it was that we had in fact just got our first win, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there, and I had in fact just seemed to stare for just a little bit more time, all at once. That was just when I then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too, at that. And I just then did in fact seem to start to see him turn his head over towards me for just a split second. As it was clear that he was in fact paying his full attention on to just what it was that I even felt like I had to say to him, all at once, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to realize that it was in fact the case all of the sudden, all at the exact same time too, at that. That was just when I then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead all at once, at that. And I then did in fact seem to start to continue to speak to him, at that, never the less. As I knew that it was that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what ever it was that I did in fact feel like I even needed to say to him at that.
"Lebron won a ring... And he missed a free throw at the end of a game 7 with less than 15 seconds left on the clock..." I pointed out to him, all at the exact same time too. As I was in fact a bit happy as to the fact that I did in fact have a little bit of some quick thinking, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
As I felt like I could not help but to have a little bit of a smirk on my face as soon as it was that I had in fact even just said as to what it was that I had even said to him, at that. As I knew that I had a fair point, all at the exact same time too, at that. And I was fairly certain that there was no way he was going to have a rebuttal as to just what it was that I had even said to him just then.
But it was clear that I was in fact wrong, all at the exact same time too, all at once. As Xavier did in fact seem to have the not so happy look on his face, all at the exact same time too, never the less, at that. He then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead and start to speak back a quick response to me, all at once, at that.
As I kind of was a little bit surprised by it, and a little bit shocked by it, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I kind of just seemed to blink my eyes a few times, all at once, at that. As I tilted my head a little bit on over towards him, at that, still. As it was clear that I was in fact paying attention as to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say to me right now, never the less.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to continue to stand there, and I had in fact just seemed to continue to stare at him for just a little bit more time, all at the exact same time too. That was when he just then did in fact seem to continue to speak on over towards me, at that, none the less. As I of course just then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say to me in the very first place any ways, once again.
"Yeah... That was when they had a 3 point lead... And he made the second one to make it a 2 possession game..." He said to me, as he had his eyes squinted on the road, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that. As I kind of felt like he did in fact have a little bit of a fair point on just what it was that he had even just said, all at the exact same time too, at that, never the less.
I felt a bit stupid now for the fact that it was that I had brought that up, all at the exact same time too. As it kind of ruined the point of just what it was that I was getting at. As I knew that he was in fact correct with the fact that he had told me that only clutch players took their team to championships, to win rings, never the less.
I was about to give up and arguing with him, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that. That was of course when all of the sudden, some thing about that same game 7 did in fact seem to start to come to my head, at that. As I just then did in fact seem to start to go realize that it was that it was not even LeBron that had clinched the win for them in that game, at that.
I once again just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that, never the less. As I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time as well. And I just then did in fact seem to start to continue to speak back to Xavier, all at once, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to do as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when I just then did in fact seem to start to notice that it was, at that. That Xavier did in fact be seeming to grip the wheel of the car a bit awfully tight, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it was clear to me that he felt a lot of stress right now, all at the exact same time too.
I was not all too sure as to just why that was the case still, all at the exact same time too, as I kind of just seemed to calm my self down. I felt like I needed to calm him down, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I knew that of course, that he was in fact beginning to start to pay attention as to just what it was that I even needed to say to him right now, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to realize as to the fact that it was that such a thing was in fact the case, all at the exact same time too. That was when I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead. And I just then did in fact seem to start to continue to speak to him, all at once, at that, of course. As I knew that it was that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I even needed to say back to him of course, all at once.
"But LeBron wasn't even the one who gave them that 3 point lead... That was Kyrie... And that was an Iso move on Curry..." I pointed out to him, all at the exact same time too, all at once, all at the exact same time too. As this time I felt like that would for sure get him to wake up. And that it would in fact get him to budge, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
But as it was that I had in fact seemed to stand there, and stare at him right in to his eyes for just a little bit more time all of the sudden. That was when I noticed that he just seemed to hold the same blank. And the same all not too happy look that he had on his face just a few seconds before now.
As it was clear to me that he was trying to think of some thing to say back to me, all at the exact same time too. As it was clear that he was still not willing to give up just yet. As I would say that he did not want to give up easily, but at this point it would be hard for him not to at this point. As I felt like he had tried to think of enough excuses as it was before now.
I kind of at first, felt like it really did not seem to matter all too much to me, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I kind of just was about to turn my head away from him. As I was simply just going to stare at the road that was dark and ahead of us the whole way home, at that.
As I was in fact a little bit disappointed as to the way that it seemed like he had in fact reacted as to us winning our first game, at that. As it seemed like he was being a little bit too harsh, even with him being a coach and all. I felt like we should just be happy with the fact that we had in fact won the game, never the less, at that.
And as it was that I did in fact seem to just get my mind, and my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts that it was that I had in fact been even thinking on long before now. And I simply just seemed to hold my eyes on the road for just a little bit more time, all at once, at that.
That was when I just then did in fact seem to start to hear the voice of Xavier, as it was that he was in fact beginning to start to speak back to me all of the sudden. Just when it was that I had in fact felt like it was that he had in fact finally given in, and he had given up on what it was that he had been getting at before. I kind of just felt a little bit upset at it, as I kind of just seemed to start to turn my head on over towards him, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to do as such a thing like that, at that. That was when I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, and I began to start to squint my eyes on over towards him. As for me at the very least, I knew that it was that J was in fact paying my full attention on to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say to me right now, never the less.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too. And it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to do as such a thing like that all of the sudden, all at once, at that. That was when I just then did in fact seem to start to nod to him, at that. As it seemed like he was not going to do any thing else until that was in fact the case.
As I knew that he was in fact paying his full attention on to me from the corner of his eyes, all at the exact same time as well, never the less. As just as it was that it had in fact seemed like I had in fact just done as such a thing like that all of the sudden. That was when I just then did in fact seem to start to hear his voice as he of course did in fact just seem to start to continue to go right on ahead at that, never the less. And he did in fact begin to start to speak to me, as I of course. Did in fact just then begin to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say on over to me, all at the exact same time too, at that.
"Yeah... Well LeBron also had that chase down block at the end, to still keep it in their favor..." He said back to me, all at the exact same time too. As, as soon as it was that he had in fact said as to just what it was that he had in fact said to me, at that. I of course luckily enough for my self, did not seem to budge what so ever, as to just what it was that he had even just said to me, never the less, once again.
I knew that it was a terrible excuse by him, all at the exact same time too, never the less. As I kind of just seemed to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too, at that. And I just seemed to start to squint my eyes back on over towards him, all at the exact same time as well. As I was not all too sure as to just what it was that he was getting at, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As I knew that I had played great defense that entire game, all at the exact same time too. Even up towards the end, I had not budged what so ever on to just what it was that I had in fact even been doing, all at the exact same time as well. So it did in fact kind of throw me a little bit off, and it did in fact kind of annoy me as to just what it was that he was even getting at this very moment in time too.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there and stare for just a little bit more time, at that. That was when in the end, I just then did in fact just seem to start to shake my head right back on over towards him. Which I still knew that he had in fact noticed me do as such a thing from the corner of his eyes once again. As I could tell that he was in fact a little bit confused as to just what it was that I was getting at.
And as to just why it was that I was not giving up on just what it was that he was even getting at, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I kind of just seemed to start to go right on ahead, all at once, at that. And I kind of just seemed to start to continue to speak to him either which way it was that it did in fact just so happen to be, never the less, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to do as such a thing like that, all at once. I began to start to notice the tight grip that it was that Xavier once again did in fact just seem to have on the steering wheel right now, all at the exact same time too. Which kind of just made my self roll my eyes a little bit, all at once, at that.
It was clear that he was stressed out. But I was not all too sure as to just why that was even the case for him right now, all at the exact same time too, never the less. When it was that it did in fact seem like things were in fact going good for us right now, all at the exact same time too, at that.
I kind of just simply got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of that either which way it was any ways. As I simply just seemed to continue to go right on ahead, at that. And I of course did in fact seem to start to continue to speak to him all of the sudden. As it was that I just then did in fact seem to start to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too. I knew that he was of course still beginning to listen as to just what ever it was that I did in fact feel like it was that I did in fact even need to say back on over towards him, all at once, at that.
"Yeah... And sorry I am not 6 foot 8 like LeBron is... And I can't go and do a chase down block! I contested that guy at the end? Is enough just not enough for you?" I said to him, all at the exact same time too, as I did in fact just seem to have a very angry tone of voice as soon as it was that I had in fact even just said as to just what it was that I had even said to him.
I felt like I was a little bit stupid as to just the way that it was that I had even said to him, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I knew that in his eyes he was seeming like he was simply just trying to help him me, at that. And I was sure that it did in fact seem like I was bashing him for just what it was that he was even trying to do, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stare at him for just a little bit more time, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I kind of felt like I had in fact spoken a little bit of some truth in my own mind on just what it was that I had just said. Though for all that it was that I knew right now. I could completely be in the wrong, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, at that. As in the end, I kind of just seemed to start to go right on ahead at that. And I let out a bit of a soft sigh to my self, just as it was that I had been doing long before now. As I just seemed to keep my eyes on the road that was in fact right in front of us, never the less, once again.
As it was that it had in fact seemed like I had in fact just been doing as such a thing like that for just a little bit more time, all at once. That was when in the end, I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time as well, at that. And I just then did in fact begin to start to hear the voice of Xavier, all at once. As it was clear that he was in fact beginning to start to say one last thing to me, at that, never the less.
I was a little bit annoyed by it still, if it was that I was not going to lie to my self either, at that. As I kind of just looked on over towards him, as this time the upset look was gone. As he simply just had a blank look on his face this time, all at the exact same time too.
I blinked my eyes a few times, all at the exact same time as well. As I was in fact  a little bit lost by it, if I was not going to lie to my self either. But either which way it just so happened to be, all at once, at that. I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too. And I just then did in fact begin to nod him, at that. As it was that it was clear to me that I was in fact letting him know that I had my full attention on to him right now, all at once, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to do as such a thing like that all of the sudden, all at once. That was when I just then did in fact seem to start to hear his voice once again. As it was clear that he was still speaking to me right now. As I was in fact just beginning to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say to me, all at the exact same time too, at that.
"You know what kid? You are right? You don't need my help! You can do this all on your own!" He said back to me, as I kind of felt like it was going to be some thing along the lines of just what ever it was that he was in fact about to say to me long before now, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As I kind of was in fact a little bit upset as to the fact that it was that he had in fact even just said as to just what it was that he had even just said to me, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I kind of just seemed to grunt a little bit to my self at first, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
As in the end, I felt like I just wanted to close my eyes, and I wanted to go back home, at that. As I felt like this was not helping with my own sort of stress. And it was not helping with my own sort of anxiety, all at the exact same time too, at that, never the less.
As I had felt like Xavier had come here and he had in fact helped be with all of my mental issues, all at the exact same time too, at that. But now that was all seeming to just start to all of the sudden go away, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it kind of hurt me a little bit, all at the exact same time too, never the less, once again.
I kind of just laid back in my seat, all at the exact same time too. As I just then simply felt like I should give up on fighting back against him, all at the exact same time too. As I just then did in fact simply begin to start to speak to my self, at that.
"Why can't you just be happy that we won?"
