Sanemi Pov

Another day of training. God I hate training. But who gives a shit, it takes my mind off of things. I could care less.

On my way to train, orders from Oyakata-sama, I spotted Tomioka over by a Wisteria Tree. Obviously alone. God it pissed me off that he thought he was better than all of us, and just isolate himself. He was such a prick, honestly. I scoffed in my head, and apparently out loud as well. Because I earned a look from Tomioka. No, not even a look. It wasn't his usual plain, boring face. It looked like more of a glare, seemingly an annoyed one.

God, the way he looked at me like that was so hot. No, no it wasn't. What are you thinking you bastard? Tomioka isn't hot. He looks miserable all the time.. there's no way. God why does that man have to be so attractiv-?

I must have been lost in thought, still staring at Tomioka who has now looked away, because i heard Shinobu's voice behind me. That's not any good news. I heard her snicker from behind me, god I hated her fake smiles, her calm voice that clearly had to be forced.

" Eh? Am i interrupting something between you two? Or were you just lost in thought making up scenario's with you and Tomioka? Or, is it just you're thinking about ways to make him your boyfriend? " The smaller she, Shinobu chuckled. Giving me a smug look as I eyed her.

" No way. I was lost in thought thinking about his stupid face. Always thinking he's better than us, and he can just isolate himself. And he oh so 'does his job so well.' "

" Oh but you didn't deny me saying you were lost in thought thinking about ways to make Tomioka your boyfriend." Shinobu snickered, laughing at me.

" Shut your mouth, Shinobu. " I shot the she a glare, visibly annoyed with her bickering.

" And what will you do if I don't, Shinazugawa? " Shinobu looked at me, placing a hand on my shoulder and squeezing it tightly with her usual innocent look.

" God you piss me off bitch. " I sent her another glare, and pulled out of the shes grip, beginning to walk off to the training grounds, when I realized Shinobu wasn't following me, despite her quiet footsteps, I could clearly tell when Shinobu was approaching, or following me.

I groaned, turning around and seeing Shinobu whisper something to Tomioka. It was definitely something stupid, and it was clear as day it was about me being lost in thought while staring at the guy. I brushed it off, hoping Shinobu didn't say anything stupid.

I figured that Tomioka is to much of an airhead to understand, so i left with a confidence boost. Knowing that I was way smarter than Tomioka. Or, so I thought. Mentally, I am smarter. But in battle, Tomioka has the brains. He takes time to figure out a battle stance, and come up with a proper plan attack, where I simply go after it and send sloppy attacks. No thoughts in my head other than 'Kill the demon.'

I continued to the training grounds, and when I arrived I was greeted by Kanroji and her usual screech, and a hug, A smile and wave from Kyojuro. Tengen who made comments on his 'unflashy entrance', like that mattered. A simple 'hello' and glare from Iguro, and a stare from Muichiro. Along with a bow from Himejima. Where I just gave a 'hi' and walked over.

When Shinobu arrived, she was greeted the same way as I was, and after everybody but Tomioka arrived, they started training. Because they all knew, Tomioka never shows up the the training.

Kanroji and Kyojuro were sparring, Iguro and Tengen were charging at eachother with their katana's, doing their usual fight-training. Shinobu making new poison's , looking for new reactions while testing it on demon flesh, but also practicing how she welded her katana, and her swordsmanship. Muichiro was also practicing his swordsmanship, making new obstacles to face, and setting up more demon shaped wood carvings up to practice his aim, and agility. I was sparring with Himejima, practicing more of my combat moves, also taking time for the both of us to do more breathing style training.

Hours had past. Now, it was nightfall and everyone was back at their estates, and Tomioka was out on a mission.
