64; Genes Sometimes Doesn't Work

"You finally got out, bro!" I gave him a fist bomb the moment he entered the dasha, Draven finally got out the prison. "They're waiting for you at the kitchen."

We went to the kitchen as I saw all of them preparing for the new year, yes, its december thirty-one. All of us are wearing yellow clothes because it is the lucky color for the new year, eating circle fruits for a lucky year. I sat down, but then I saw Zhenyuan gē entered the hall, with two girls beside him. 

"Hey, who are these beautiful girls?" Zhubao suddenly stood up and stoked the hair of the other girl.

"They are my sixteen-year-old twins." He said, after we heard those words, we all stood up in surprise, "Why are you all looking so surprised?" 

"As in, they are twins?" Zhubao asked, "But where is their mother?"

"Nevermind that." Zhenyuan shookt his head, Zhubao just nodded in respect that he doesn't wanna talk about what happened between him, and his wife. "Anyways, this is Zhenyiren, the long haired, this is Zhenyara, the short haired, so all of you wouldn't be confused about them.."

"Give your auntie a tight hug, girls!" Zhubao widen her arms as the two ran to her and hugged, "Don't be shy here, okay, feel at home, this is our home."

I accidentally glimpsed at Zhenyuan that is now smiling while looking at them, I suddenly smiled. After that, we all went outside to make noises and fire the fireworks for the clock to tick on twelve of the midnight.

I carried Yeong and putted him on my back while Yong was carrying Ye, we all went outside as Yuhan and Zeyu set the fireworks, the kids started to blow up their horns, shouting a very happy new year. All of us we're looking up the sky when Yong and I saw a shooting star, we suddenly looked at each other's eyes and wished the same wish we are talking about off. "We hope to see each other on the next life."

After the fireworks display, we came inside to eat the feist, it's been a while since we've seen each other's completely. Everyone was here, all the TF Family generations and their partners are here.

But for those who doesn't have... nevermind.

We all gathered on the dining table and seems like we we're having a teens party because of the unstoppable chit-chats, I just sat on the front chair and stared at all of them. This is what we've dreamed of, living in peace. No risks, I love how we smile right now, it's so natural and every one of us would smile if we saw each other's smile.

What more sould I wish for?

This is the best life I have dreamed of, being with all of them. Peacefully, no one is out there, alone. No one was left behind.

ZHENYUAN

"So when did your wife left?" Zhubao asked me while playing with the wine on her glass, "This is a private talk, Zhenyuan gē. No one will hear us here, you can tell me everything."

"Since that day she knew that my dad was a bad person, but that was also a good thing." I sighed, "Because we already fall out of love, we are not happy with each other anymore. But I am sad for our daughters, they already understand what was happening. But... I cannot deny that they still miss their mom until now."

"Maybe they will understand soon what you two have gone through, it's too hard to fall out of love, Zhenyuan. It was like letting go of something you have and hold for a long time," she said.

"You know what, I don't even know what's wrong about visiting the kids every day, she even didn't get to message them on their birthday." I looked down, "Is that hard to love my kids— me?"

"You aren't hard to love, Zhenyuan gē. Even the kids aren't that hard to love, the first time I saw them. I know they are great and good kids, there is really something wrong, not on you, nor the kids. It's on her..." she said and looked straightly at my eyes.

"Even though she is not here, that I don't feel the same anymore. I don't regret meeting her, that I married her." I said, "I never regret having her in my life, I've never been so happy since I was with her. But destiny is really that playful, we've met to make two miracle children, and then we grew fonder apart."

After we both talked, we went back to the living room where our family was. 

"Hey, Zhenyuan. How come you have twins?" Junlin suddenly asked.

"Is it on the genes?" Haoxiang followed up and looked at Zhubao. "Ye and Yeong are girl and boy twins. Is it on your genes to have twins?"

"Yes, it's on our genes, mom and dad side, we both have." Zhubao smiled, "It's on our genes to have twins."

"Hey!" It was Allerioh, on the door, with a boy behind him. "Oh, you've never met Ace before, eh? He's my child, seventeen years old."

"Well, I've never seen him for years, bruh!" Zhubao said and ran to Ace, then the boy jumped on her for a hug. "I missed you so much, Ace!"

"I missed you too, auntie!" He said, they let go of the hug was Yong approached him. "Hey there, Yong."

"The last time I saw you was... my eight birthday eh?" Yong laughed, "Anyways, lets go right there, gē Xiansen wants to play with us for online games."

"Well, lets go!" Ace followed Yong on the side.

"Eh, I thought it was on your genes?" Yaxuan asked and made a poker face.

"Sometimes, it just doesn't work." I said as all of us laughed.
