I was walking down the hallway of CTC building when I saw Axel walking towards my way as well.

"Axel!" I said that made him look at me. I've been dying to ask him about his friend. After I received those text messages, I haven't decided yet whether to text back or not. Maybe I was being played or something. I just don't want to get my hopes up. Hangga't walang confirmation na it was actually the Ian Cortez, I won't respond.

"Ikaw pala, Zel!" He said with a smile. He's so bait talaga! I mean, back in highschool, I would hear some things about him that he's so approachable and all, and now that I am experiencing it first hand, I can really say that he's one of the kindest person I have ever met.

He's just so genuine about everything, I knew that Kiera's in good hands. Definitely.

"Where's your girlfriend?" I teased, trying to drive in way to the topic na gusto ko talagang pagusapan.

"She's still in her class." He replied, chuckling. He's so damn attractive talaga! But I know my distance as Kiera's friend. He had his eyes laid on her already so a no no na talaga.

I am just so happy that he and Kiera are now together! They looked so freaking cute! The way they look and smile at each other! How I wish someone would also look at me like that!

"Can... I ask you something?" I finally said. It's now or never. I need clarifications. Axel just nodded, signaling me to continue. "Can I... ask for Ian's number?" I looked away immediately because of embarrassment. I heard Axel chuckle that made me frown.

"You really like him huh?" He asked, trying to hide his smile.

"It's not what you think..." I tried to explain but Axel immediately took his phone out to show Ian's number.

"Eto oh. Medyo mabagal lang yan mag-reply, pero nagrereply naman. Huwag ka mag-alala." He remarked, I took a picture of it and the bell rang. I thanked him and bid my goodbye before going my way to my next class.

.....

I compared the number that texted me to the number that Axel gave me. What the heck, it matched! I can't recall how the hell did Ian get my number or what we talked about that night of the party but I must've been very drunk that time!

I make sure that I am very careful in giving my personal information because I am fully aware of how influential my Dad is and I don't want us to be involved in anything bad.

Ugh! So stupid of me!

After all my classes, I decided to go home early. When I saw Kuya Luis waiting for me outside the gate of Ateneo, I waved at him and almost ran toward his direction.

"Hi kuya!" I greeted and he just smiled at me through the rear view mirror and asked me how my day went and I gladly told him how my day went and he just silently listened. It would always be like this–I tell him how my day went and he would just listen to me.
