✧- Let them down easy:
Don't just straight up tell them that something is wrong with them and say it's over. Give them a reason to why your breaking up with them.

✧- Don't do it over text/call:
I've heard that it's always weenish when you tell them that your breaking up over text. It makes you seem like your scared to face them and actually tell them.

✧- Be sure that you really want to permanently end the relationship:
Never break up with somebody unless you are okay with the possibility that you may never get back together. Even if you do change your mind after the break up and agree to get back together, you will have created lasting damage to the relationship that may be irreparable.

✧- Choose the right time:
There's never going to be a perfect time to break up with the person you love, but there are definitely certain situations that you should avoid. Among them are the following: never when their going through a crisis, not during a fight, in front of people, or over text.

✧- Be honest, but not unnecessarily harsh:
Everybody deserves to be told the truth, but at the same time, there are certain things that will only hurt your partner's feelings without serving any constructive purpose. Only criticize your partner if you think that doing so will benefit him or her in a future relationship
