Seven Years Ago, September 1st
Winifred Roseworth is panting softly as she runs through the halls of her of her high school of Thane High a two-story school that has been around since the 1950s. She is trying to avoid one specific student who constantly teases her as soon as he and his group of friends lay eyes on her. It is the beginning of her favorite month fall, Winifred is in a brown turtleneck sweater, a tan skirt that goes past her knees, tan stockings that go up to her thighs and black clip-on shoes. Her long brown cascades down her back and the front of her shoulders, she is wearing a black hairband and her thick rimmed glasses are pushed all the way up to the bridge of her nose. She jumps when she hears the someone shouting her name and turns around.
"Winifred! Hey Winifred wait up!" Hannah shouts as she rushes to catch up to her. Hannah Stobierski is Winifred best friend albeit the most surprising friend she has. Hannah is the exact opposite of Winifred, she isn't awkward, she is part of the popular crowd and wears the latest fashion. Hannah has dyed blonde hair that is tied in a high bun and green eyes, on both her cheeks there is a massive number of freckles. She is in a long sleeve black shirt with blue jeans and brown boots. "Winifred how was your summer? I remember you telling me that you are working at your grandparent's bookstore starting next week, right?" Hannah asks her with a bright smile. Winifred grins as other students by them as she says, "Yes come on I'll explain on the way to homeroom."
Chatter among students pass as they walk towards room 207, the sounds of lockers opening and locking echo in the halls as they enter homeroom. "But yes, you're right I start next week and can't wait for-"Winifred starts to excitedly tell Hannah, when a voice she dreaded interrupts her. "You really need to get a life Rosworth. Jeez and here I thought you couldn't be more pathetic." Erik Hutton a boy with long black hair and blue eyes grins as he and his group of friend's smirks at them. Erik Hutton is built while wearing a long sleeve black shirt, long black pants, a spiked belt that goes all around is pants and hangs down a bit, he has sharp cheek bones and has silver rings all on his right hand as well a small nose piercing. As well as black boots.
"Shut up Erik! at least she doesn't get suspended after 2 weeks for fighting." Hannah glares angrily as Winifred who hates fighting just silently look down and goes to her desk in the back and pulls out her very beloved copy of Pride&Prejuice by Jane Austen. "Oh, shut up Hannah like anyone wants to hear miss perfect talk." He rolls his eyes and approach's Winifred desk and slams his hands down hard as he glares down at her. "You better remember to buy my cigarettes you hear freak? I would hate to destroy your books and supplies again" He sneers as Winifred shakes.
Winifred stutters out as she nods." Y-Yes Erik." Soon in two weeks she will be distracting herself in her favorite place in the world. Plus, soon she will never have to see Erik Hutton's face again once they graduate. Her eyes go to the window as she watches orange, red and yellow leaves fall from the nearby trees and onto the ground.
