Y/N POV:

It is Christmas Eve morning, and you glance at the vibrant red digits of your clock. The time reads a mere 6:00 AM, and a sigh escapes your lips as you reminisce about how your husband used to wake you with gentle kisses in your hair. You fondly recall the comforting sensation of his chest against your back and the sound of his deep, sleepy voice murmuring, "Good morning, my love." Turning to where he would be, you find his side of the bed empty and tears well up in your eyes. You reach out to touch the vacant space and embrace his pillow, the one you would playfully steal each morning as he left for work.

You embraced the pillow, gently whispering, "I miss you, Alan. I truly do." Imagining it was him, you placed a kiss on the pillow before rising from bed and putting on your robe and slippers.

With a soft yawn and a stretch, you made your way to the bathroom, turning on the lights to brush your teeth. After completing your dental hygiene routine, you walked to the closet, a smile gracing your lips as you gazed upon your husband's clothes. Everything remained untouched, just as he had left it.

Stepping further into the closet, you selected your favorite colored shirt and paired it with a pair of black jeans. Your eyes fell upon your husband's clothing, and you reached for one of his beloved winter sweaters. As you donned it, the lingering scent of his cologne brought a smile to your face, evoking a comforting sense of his presence.

Having finished dressing, you closed the closet door and headed towards the kitchen..

Upon entering the kitchen, you obtained your teapot and proceeded to fill it with water in order to prepare your daily tea. Subsequently, you placed the teapot on the stove and retrieved your preferred teacup, along with a tea bag of your favorite Earl Grey tea. As the water began to heat up, you drew back the white curtains in the kitchen, granting you a view of the outdoors. You observed the sun painting the sky with its customary hues of yellow and orange, a characteristic of the morning hours. A smile graced your lips as you took in the beauty of the winter day, your attention drawn to the whistling sound emanating from the teapot. With utmost care, you removed the teapot from the stove and meticulously poured the water into your teacup, causing the tea bag to release its vibrant red color and enchanting aroma. You then settled down at the table and gently stirred the tea bag with a spoon, deepening the color of the tea.

As you delicately maneuvered the spoon to extract the tea bag from your tea, your mind drifted back to the serendipitous encounter with Alan. It was a day marked by the gentle pitter-patter of rain, and you found yourself ensconced in a cozy café, sipping tea near the window. The rain cascading down the sky held a peculiar charm for you, transforming even the gloomiest of days into moments of beauty. While Londoners often lamented the frequent rainfall, you reveled in its presence. The scent it imparted and the tranquil ambiance it created were a source of solace for you. As the café door chimed, signaling a new arrival, your gaze shifted towards the entrance. A gentleman, exuding an air of warmth and contentment, stepped inside, clutching a book in his hands. He proceeded to the counter to place his order, and you discreetly returned your attention to your captivating read, "The Great Gatsby."

Alan's POV:

As I stood there with a smile on my face, I politely addressed the lady taking my order. "I would like to have a hot Afternoon Tea, please," I said. She returned the smile and responded, "Certainly, sir. May I have your name, please?" I nodded and replied, "It's Alan." After making the payment, I patiently waited for my tea, knowing that it would take around five minutes to brew.

I scanned the room in search of an available table, but to my dismay, nearly every seat was occupied. Even my preferred spot by the window was taken. I couldn't help but notice the lady sitting there, and as our eyes met, she offered me the most enchanting and gentle smile I had ever witnessed. I reciprocated the gesture and quickly looked away, not wanting to make her feel uncomfortable. Just then, my name was called, indicating that my tea was ready for collection..

I went to the front and grabbed my tea. I walked to the table by the window and asked the lady, "Excuse me, is this seat taken?" She looked up, smiled, and said, "No, it's not. Please sit down." I smiled, sat down, put my tea on the coaster, and opened my book to read. While reading, I sometimes glanced at her but quickly looked away before she caught me. She read and sipped her tea as the rain outside got heavier. I checked my watch and saw it was almost 5:00 PM. She smiled and asked, "What's your name?" I smiled back and said, "Alan Rickman. What's yours?" She smiled and said, "Y/N L/N." I smiled and said, "That's a beautiful name, Y/N." The way I said her name had a nice melody to it.

I observed that she blushed when she heard the way I pronounced her name. She carefully put her book down, ensuring that she did not lose her place. She looked at me and smiled, saying, "Don't you simply adore the rain? It is quite beautiful, is it not?" I smiled back at her and said, "Indeed, but not as beautiful as you, if you don't mind me saying so." She blushed again and looked down, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. She then looked at me and said, "Of course not, thank you very much." We continued our conversation, discussing our favorite books, teas, and recommendations. I glanced at my watch and noticed that it was 8:00 PM. We both laughed when we realized how long we had been talking and how everyone else around us had left. It was just the two of us now.

Y/N POV:

I smiled and chuckled with Alan as he remarked, "Time does indeed pass swiftly, doesn't it?" I nodded in agreement and smiled as the individuals in the cafe shop playfully exclaimed, "Alright, lovebirds, we shall be closing soon!" Hearing the term 'lovebirds' caused a slight blush to grace my cheeks. He smiled and inquired, "Well, Y/N, shall we depart? I can escort you to your vehicle since it is approaching dusk." I responded with a grateful smile and a nod, saying, "Thank you." As we rose from our seats, I carefully placed my book within my handbag and slung it over my shoulder. He kindly offered me his hand, which I accepted and held gently as he accompanied me to my car.

He smiled at me, "It was a truly delightful evening, Y/N. If you would grant me the privilege of seeing you again, it would be my utmost honor." You smiled and replied, "Of course, Alan. It was a wonderful time, thank you." He smiled at you and placed a kiss on your hand. Suddenly, your memory was interrupted by a loud knock at the door. You stood up and made your way to the door as the knocking persisted. "Just a moment!" You called out. You reached the door and opened it, your eyes widening in surprise as you saw your husband, Alan, standing there. You felt a wave of dizziness wash over you, and your legs felt weak as you fainted.
