"Good afternoon, Jimmy," Scott greeted the blonde, his voice was different, he seemed nervous? "Good afternoon, Scott," Jimmy smiled, "So, you've invited me out for an afternoon together?" "Mhm." "What were you wanting to do?" "Maybe I could give you a tour of my empire? Unless you wanted to give me a tour of yours?" "A tour of your empire sounds delightful," the cyanette nodded. "Great, shall we fly?" "We shall," the two flew off into the sky, the only difference was that Scott had real wings, Jimmy used an elytra. The flight was pretty silent, neither knew what to say, jimmy noticed Scott fidgeting with his frosty fingers most of the time, keeping his gaze either on the clouds or the ground. When they arrived, the two rulers were greeted by a crowd of Cod people who were fascinated by the elven king. "He's so pale!" one child said. "he looks so fancy!" said another. "his antlers are awesome!" spoke another. Scott smiled as the children gawked over his unusual attire, the adults just stared and talked amongst themselves. "Alright, everyone, I know you're all excited with Scott Major's arrival, but why don't we give him some space, hm?" he seemed to speak mainly to the children, who apologized and went to play elsewhere. "I'm sorry, they get so curious," "No need to apologize, it was fun," "So, on with the tour?" the cyanette nodded, Jimmy led him through the main town where the Cod people lived and then to the shopping district, Scott had stopped Jimmy to check out a shop that sold wood carvings, some were of different things that symbolized each ruler, he ended up buying the stag carving as well as one that looked like the Cod Father head, to which the vendor, who's name was Jonah, thanked him profusely. "That's really cool!" Jimmy gasped at the stag carving, Scott was hiding the Cod Father carving from jimmy's sight. "I didn't know Jonah sold carvings based on the other rulers," "Mhm, it's very fascinating, you should stop by sometime, I think you'd like it," "Maybe I will," Jimmy grinned, in this moment with Scott he'd forgotten about the deadly flowers growing in his lungs. "Anyways, let's continue," they continued through the shopping district, Scott found all of the decorations quite fun, a mix of lanterns and fairy lights, colorful banners, little cod statues all around, and the occasional mud man made by the children. Although it wasn't as flasy as the others, Scott found Jimmy's empire quite nice, even if he didn't have a palace.
"And that brings us on to my shack," Jimmy seemed almost embarrased about his shack. "It looks quite nice," "Really?" "Yeah, even if it's not a palace," jimmy smiled. "So, is this the end of the tour?" "I think so, yeah," "Right, well, if you'd like we could tour my empire?" "I'd love that," "Great, let's go." the flyy was just as silent as the first one. Upon arriving, Scott had to look for something in his palace first. When he came out, he was wearing gloves, but Jimmy wouldn't question it, it would ruin this time. "Right, time for the tour." they started in the village area, the elven people were a lot less outgoing towards Jimmy as his people were with Scott, but he noticed them admiring him as they walked, they'd probably never seen a fish man before. The shopping district stemmed from the village as some elves lived in their shops, which were beautifully decorated with lanterns and intricate carvings into whatever stone or wood that was used to build. Scott showed Jimmy his sheep farm, his enchanting tower, and his palace, which was gorgeous, the white and cyan colors matched so well with spruce wood, that seemed to be Scott's favorite wood, Jimmy guessed. The tour seemed to end outside the palace, where they started. Except that's where things got awkward.
"jimmy, can i ask you a question?" "Yes?" "Do you remember when we last talked at Katherine's?" jimmy gulped. "Mhm?" "I found you in your shack after you flew away, you were knocked out surrounded by petals. What was that?" there it was, the thing that ruined this great moment. "Uhm," should he tell Scott? How easily would Scott realize he was Jimmy's beloved? "Jimmy? Are you going to answer me?" "Yeah, I just picked up some flowers on the way back," "Don't lie to me." Jimmy started sweating a bit. He had a feeling Scott already knew what was wrong with him, but he wasn't for sure. "Uh, well, I woke up at Katherine's where she told me something." "And that something is?" Jimmy could just lie, but Scott was too good at detecting lies. "i have a disease," Jimmy sighed. Scott's eyes widened a bit. "A disease? What disease?" was that worry in his voice? "Basically," there was no basic way to say this, he would just end up freaking out Scott. "I have flowers growing in my lungs because I love someone, and they probably don't like me back," he stared at the ground as he spoke, he felt his face would give away that it was Scott. "And she said that as long as the love stays unrequieted, or unsaid, the flowers'll continue to grow until I'm throwing up whole flowers," Scott's face was a mix of sadness and horror. "The only way to stop it is if my crush-" the word sounded stupid in the context of the situation, "-reciprocates my love, and it has to be romantic, or if I go through a surgery," Scott seemed hopeful at the mention of the surgery, but the happiness quickly left. "But that would take away my ability to love them, take away my memories of them, or take away ability to love them entirely. And if I don't do the surgery or get them to love me, I'll die.." "Jimmy, if you don't mind me asking, who is it?" Scott didn't want to pry, but maybe he could help Jimmy stay alive. "Why would it matter? I know they wouldn't love me back." that broke Scott's heart. "Come on, don't think like that, i'm sure they would." "Come on, Scott, look at me. I hide under a mask, I can barely protect myself, and I can't even build," Jimmy then noticed that he was crying, both from the pain in his chest and the words he was saying. "Like, who wants to love someone who can't fight off a demon? Or someone who can't pay attention to important meetings, who just makes everyone angry at him." "Jimmy, just listen to me. They will love you, I promise." "How can you be so sure?" "Because I just know it," Scott assured, why was he even saying this? He wasn't the one who loved Jimmy, he literally had a boyfriend. (yall probs hate me now >:]) "scott, I know he doesn't love me, so stop try-" Jimmy couldn't fight the urge anymore, he began to cough up the red petals again, Scott backed away, unsure of what to do. "Jimmy, I'm sorry, just try to breathe," that's really all he could do was try to get him to breathe. Jimmy tried, but he was in his own head, it was true, Scott would never love him because Jimmy knew he was dating someone, which made it worse. "I-I gotta le-leave-" Jimmy managed to get a few words out, opening his elytra. "Jimmy, wait, don't go-" it was too late, jimmy took off into the sky, still coughing, the petals flew down as he did so. Scott stared up after him, then someone hugged him from behin. "Hey, babe," the male smiled. "hey, Callon," Scott took his hand, watching the sky. "Something wrong?" "just talked with a friend," "alright, well, goodnight love." the elf pecked Scott's cold lips before leaving into the darkness.

Jimmy flew directly to Katherine's tears running down his face.  He knew what he needed to do, and even though the thought of forgetting Scott entirely was terrifying, he couldn't take this pain, it was too much, and he wasn't even theowing up flowers yet. "Jimmy? What's up?" "Katherine, I wanna do the surgery."

im just so evil
