{Chapter 22}
Spencer had his hand on his girlfriend's knee as he didn't want any man assuming she was single. He wasn't a possessive man but if his girlfriend gets flirted with or something like that, he won't be happy. Even though he knew his girlfriend was loyal, he still didn't want to take any chances.
Daisy placed a hand on top of his and looked at him, "I want to dance."
He nodded and let go of her knee, thinking she wanted to dance by herself or with the girls.
Daisy giggled, "I mean with you!"
Spencer made a 'oh' expression before standing up to go dance with her. The dance floor was crowded with intoxicated and sweaty people as they began to dance together. Many didn't know this, but Spencer knew how to dance, but he was never one to show it. Daisy had her backside to his front and wrapped her one hand to the back of his neck. Soon Derek and Penelope joined, along with JJ and Emily. David and Aaron were talking about random things as Melinda listened in. She would look over at the team as well as in alert to make sure everyone was ok. She turned back when she felt a hand on her thigh to see it was Aaron's. He was still talking to David but he just placed his hand there. No one could tell it was there because with how dim the lights were in the place. Melinda looked at him to see if he was aware of what he was doing, but he was too busy conversing with his co-worker. The team soon came back to the table.
Daisy whispered into her mom's ear, "Someone has been staring at you as soon as we walked in."
Melinda looked at her and whispered back, "Who?"
Daisy looked over at the man making Melinda see who it is. It was a man who was around the same age as her with muscles that Derek would be jealous of. He saw her staring at him and sent her a smile and a wave. Melinda didn't acknowledge him and turned back to her team. The man noticed that and decided to take the initiative to greet her. He stood up from his table and made his way over. The girls at the table, except Melinda, noticed him and smirked to themselves. The man stood at the end of the table, making his presence known to the whole table as he looked to Melinda.
"Hi, I'm Joseph."
Aaron looked at this man with curiosity for talking to the woman next to him.
Melinda gave Joseph a light smile as she held her hand out to him, "Melinda."
Joseph smiled and shook her hand before he gestured to the dance floor, "Care to dance?"
She shook her head and stood up as a slow country song played. He lead her to the dance floor as the girls looked in shock. Joseph spun Melinda around before bringing her back to him. She wasn't much of a dancer but she did know how to dance. Aaron was watching the whole thing with a bit of disappointment. Daisy noticed and lightly kicked his foot making him look at her.
