Amoux and Aurora: The Era of Wolves

Chapter 1: Sanctuary

2 years following the events in Municiberg, married couple, Chris and Carla also known as Amoux and Aurora, were in a cabin in the forest near the mountains of Jasper, where they have their own land with fellow wolves and raising their 2 year old daughter, Luna. After the defeat of Vigor, it's been a rough since leaving Municiberg. They had to leave their two good friends, Michael and Violet after Chris decided to move to the forest after Luna was born, for a better safe environment and to live in peace. On the first day, Chris has been dubbed the leader of the Nightwolves Tribe after his mother announced she was heading to retirement and he also has his father's power of the Mythic Wolf but after obtaining it, he still has to learn to fully control it. Throughout his leadership, he and Carla help build the Sanctuary for the wolves, building their land. "Wow. This is wonderful, honey. We have a family, a tribe and now we have a home." said Carla. "Dad would be so proud if he were here." said Chris as he looked into the night sky. Then a wolf approaches them. "Sir, we are prepared for the Moon Festival." said the wolf. "Moon Festival?" asked Chris. "It's a wolf tradition. Every year we celebrate on a the night of a full moon." said the wolf. "Wow, a celebration! Thank you so much." said Carla as the wolf headed off. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's party!" said Carla as they headed to the festival, where the couple danced and it was a beautiful beginning. As the festival goes on, Chris and Carla return to their den, where they put Luna to sleep. They eventually went to their bed but before they went to sleep, Chris was looking outside the balcony, admiring the moon. Carla approaches him and hugs him. "You think there are more wolves out there?" asked Chris. "Well, we have our tribe. Who knows? Maybe there are other packs out there." said Carla as she too admires the moon. "Yeah." said Chris. Then, there was howl from the guard wolves. "Sir, we found one of our own attacked. He said it was from another pack and they're coming here." said the guard. Chris glared. "Get everyone ready. We must defend our land!" said Chris as everyone prepared. "What's your plan?" asked Carla. "We don't want to start a war, we're gonna try to make peace with them. Stay here with Luna." said Chris as he heads down to the gate. He and several wolves were outside the gate, preparing for a fight. As they waited, in the trees came a group of wolves. Chris glared at them as they suddenly attacked. "Hold your ground!" yelled Chris as the wolves defend the Sanctuary. One wolf tried to grab Chris by his neck but he quickly counters and claws him to the ground. The tribe continues to defend their home until the wolves gave up and retreated. The tribe celebrates their victory as they all have a meeting at the fire. "Sir, who were those wolves?" asked a wolf. "I don't know. But whoever they are, it's clear that they are a threat. I advise we all remain high alert in case of any threats. We will be sure that no one will take over the Sanctuary!" said Chris. "So is there another pack out there?" asked another wolf. "It appears so. But I will go and explore the outer territories. See if I can try to make peace. We can't risk our home for a war." said Chris. Everyone disperse as Carla approached him. "So what now?" asked Carla. "I'm gonna be leaving the Sanctuary to see if there is indeed other packs out there. Those could be rogue wolves for all we know. Until I return, you'll be in charge. If anything happens, take Luna and hide in the bunker. Until I come back or the threat is done, get as far away and I'll find you." said Chris. Carla nodded as they kissed. Chris then heads off into the valley to explore more out of their territory.
