Have you ever had a hopeless crush on someone you know you'd never have a chance with but you can't make the feelings go away? Well that's how I felt.

We finally got to McDonald's after what seemed like an eternity of walking and being stuck in an awkward conversation about school, which in reality was probably only about 10 minutes. I ordered a happy meal, as I always do, only to find him laughing and calling me a cutie for playing with my batman toy.By this time I was totally lost, not in his eyes but in his beaming smile. He looked so perfect I just wanted him for myself but I know he wouldn't want me.
Once we had finished our food we made our way home, with him walking right by my side the whole way back. we stopped at the corner shop for brain lickers, mine and Morgan's favourite sweets, where the boys thought it would be funny to buy dummies. We then skipped along the street to Morgan's house, on a sugar rush from the amount of crap we bought from the shop, with our dummies in our mouths like toddlers.
As Morgan unlocked the front door we found her house to be empty of all human life, only a note left behind form Morgan's mam. "I have gone to stay at David's house for the night. Your brothers have gone to their dad's house and I am trusting you and Charlotte alone for the night. So that means no boys! Love you, mama K xx" We were obviously not going to pay any attention at all to the note and invited Jack and Ryan in for a while.
I ran straight to the arcade basketball machine with Jack right behind me to prove that I was the arcade basketball champion. As an excuse to wrap his arms around me, Jack was convincing me I was doing it wrong and that he had to show me how to do it. Even though I knew I was doing it right I let him anyways, he wrapped his arms around me, his big hands on top of my tiny hands that were grasping the mini basketball and in that moment I doubted my previous thoughts of that he wouldn't want me.
After a few games we decided to go upstairs and find out what Morgan and Ryan were doing, they were lying in one of Morgan's brother's beds watching coyote ugly and because coyote ugly is one of my favourite movies we decided to join them, lying in the other bed on the opposite side of the room. Our eyes were fixed on the TV but every so often I would see him glance over at me from the corner of my eye, I was really falling for this boy and by the looks of things he was falling for me too.
