Chapter 23- Friends

-Tubbo POV-

I woke up to a teacher telling us we have to get ready in 20 minutes. I tried to get up and found myself in Ranboo's arms. All the memories of yesterday came back to me, I actually kissed him! It wasn't just a beautiful dream.

Ranboo stirred and woke up not long after me. He looked at me and gave me a sleepy smile. God, the things I would do to see that smile every day.

"Morning 'boo," i smiled back at him. "Good morning sunshine," he groaned while stretching his arms.

I got up and got ready. When we were both ready we went out of our room towards the dining room of the hotel.

Once we got there I saw Tommy staring angrily at us, you could almost see the steam coming out of his ears.

We went to the buffet and got ourselves some food, we went to sit at the only empty table left and chatted about some random stuff that came to mind.

After a few minutes we heard someone come come up to our table. "Hi, do you guys mind if we join you? There are no other places left and this good lookin' lad ain't sitting on the floor." A guy with black hair and a bandana asked us, next to him stood a brown haired shorty with a red beanie who looked really dissapointed.

I looked at Ranboo and he shrugged. "Yeah of course you can we dont mind," I answered.  The short one smiled widely, "Thank you so much, I'm so sorry for my friend here, he doesn't really know a lot about politeness," The guy whos apparently called Bill looked very offended, but in a joking way. "By the way, I'm aimsey and this dumbass is called Bill."

"Don't worry," I laughed, "I am Toby, but you can call me Tubbo and this is Ranboo. Nice to meet you guys."

We chatted for the entirety of lunch break, the four of us got along very well. At first Ranboo didn't talk all that too much and was it mostly me carrying the conversation, but later on he started to chime in more and more until I he was comfortable with them.

At one point Bill was switching his gaze from Ranboo to me and back while wearing a smug look. I cocked one eyebrow, "Is there something wrong Bill?" His smug only grew wider.

"Sooo... Ranboo, my man, my buddy, and Tubbo, my friend," he started off, as the loud comical guy he is, "you two seem a little... you know, I'm not the best in phrasing things ofcourse but, uhh..." Both Ranboo and I had no idea what he was talking about and looked at him questionably "Sus"

Bill started laughing until Aimsey slapped his arm. "Ouch! What was that for??" Bill looked at Aimsey in disbelief. Aimsey just gestured towards Ranboo and I who were now both blushing wildly with chock plastered all over our faces. How did he know? Did others think the same? What if Tommy found out?

Ranboo spoke first ''I- uhm- No, no we are not. Or at least I am not, and not with him and just no-" he started to ramble a lot until Bill started to cry out laughing once again. "You really are hilarious Ran, truly fantastic. Sorry, I was just kidding at first but you guys just freaked out and-" he had another fit of wild laugher while Ranboo and I just sheepishly laughed.

I noticed aimsey giving us an apologethic look, but in her eyes I saw something knowing. I just brushed it off and the teachers called us for our next activity.

-Ranboo POV-

That was a... strange encounter, to say the least. Aimsey seemed great, I still have my questions about Bill tho.

The four of us made our way to the group where the teachers were about to explain what our next activity was.

"Everyone here? Okay let's begin. Today we will be doing a more chill activity so no one could get hurt again," the teacher began, looking over at Tommy, "You will all be grouped in groups of three. Try to find as many different shells as you can and try to identify what kind of shell it is. The group with the most different kinds wins."

The teachers were sharing the devisions of the groups ehile most of the students were grunting and moping about how this activity was so childish.

I looked over at Tubbo with a hopeful expression. Hopefully we'll be in the same team, it would be so f- "Toby, Tom and clay," the teacher called. Tubbo looked at me with a sad and slightly scared expression. "I'll be fine, 'boo," he said, "Good luck."

He walked towards Tommy and Dream who both had an annoyed expression.

I continued waiting for my team. To my surprise I was teamed up with Aimsey and Bill. We did a quick team hug and the game started.

We'll see how this one ends.
