"...normal's just a raging psychopath." Lucas said, Jason still pointing the gun at his head.

"You have five seconds to wake her up." A brief second passed, Lucas and Jason staring at each other, before Jason muttered. "Four...Three."

Lucas charged towards Jason ending his countdown. As Lucas connected with Jason's abdomen, a gunshot rang out. Jason's arm raised up and smacked against the pilar behind him. Causing the gun to ring out another shot and drop out of his hand. Leaving his hand free and able to connect with Lucas' face.

Before Lucas could really process the change of the situation, Jason punched Lucas multiple times. Pushing him with immense force, causing him to flip over onto Max's Walkman and headphones.

Lucas registered what had happened and looked down at the Walkman and headphones just as Jason's foot came crashing down on it. Smashing it to pieces.

   "No! No!" Lucas uttered.

The fighting did not break up. Jason was still in the lead. Taking down Lucas by blocking every one of his punches. The punches felt like they were stronger and stronger each time.
Jason eventually cornered Lucas off against a wall. Jason began choking Lucas. All air blocked from his lungs. Lucas wasn't able to fight back. He was slowly losing consciousness. His ability to hold on strong to help save Max was vanishing. He tried to escape Jason's grasp but it was no use.

Just when Lucas thought things couldn't get any worse, Max began floating mid-air. This meant Vecna got her. She was on the brink of death and Lucas couldn't do anything to save her. He had to do something. Anything.

Although his limbs began to feel numb due to lack of oxygen. Lucas was able to muster up enough strength.

For Max.

He lifted up his right arm and pushed over Jason's neck with as much force as he could. Causing Jason to smash his head into the window right beside them.

Lucas had the upper hand. He began punching Jason with all the strength he had in him. As he was gaining back the ability to breathe. The punches came stronger. So strong, to the point where Lucas was able to knock Jason unconscious. Turning around from Jason's body, Lucas looked up and was met by a still floating Max.

That's when her bone started cracking.

First it was her left arm. Followed by her left leg. The other half of her body mirroring. Her limbs were no longer straight like they were supposed to be. They were snapped and turned in all the wrong directions. Her white filled eyeballs then began flowing blood out of them.

"MAX!" Lucas cried out.

She hung there like that for a few minutes. Lucas had no idea what to do. It was hard looking up and seeing her in pain like this. He surveyed her body and tried to see if he could get her down any way possible.

Something had changed in the mere matter of a millisecond. Max was suddenly hurtling down from her previous position in the air. Lucas was now directly under her. He was able to catch her. Breaking her fall. They lie there. Lucas in a sitting position. With Max's upper half of her body in his lap.

The door burst open.

"Lucas!" Erica came running in on the scene.

"We need a doctor! Call an ambulance!" Lucas was sobbing. Erica's face was mixed with fear and pure shock. "Hurry! Call an ambulance!"

She followed what Lucas said and ran back out to get help.

"Lucas..." A voice rang out. Max.
