Just like a dream

Hawkins' high school - 1

Here I am, back at Hawkins' high school. Everything is so different but kinda still the same in a way.

I don't have time to contemplate, my first class start in 11 minutes, and I can't be late for this first day. I walk in and find the hallway full of students speaking, running, taking books from their lockers.

"Shouldn't they be in class already ? Ugh whatever, just go through it", I think

I make my way until I, of course, bump into someone.

"Watch out ! " I let out.
Shit, I shouldn't have said that

"Be careful what you say", he tell and after taking a look at me :

"- I don't know you, who are you ?

- It's none of your business but I could ask you the same question
- You don't know who I am so I guess you're new. I'm Jason Carver, the leader of our basket team, the Tigers.
- Okay, I say unimpressed
- You wanna play like that ? Let's do it, we're gonna see ourselves back very soon, new girl
- Oh don't worry, you'll be hearing from me too soon, Jason Carver.
And I make sure to articulate every syllabe in his name.

On that I walk away, tired and mad from what just happened. Guess douchebags never leave or change. I need to hurry or I'll be late because of this stupid accident.

I finally arrive at the front door of the class and enter.

It's already full and everyone is talking.

I see him right away, in the corner of the class with his two friends playing a game, probably DND, I don't know. It's weird having him in my class but I guess I'll have to do with it.

One guy see me enter and ask me :
"- Hi are you new I don't think we ever saw you in Hawkins ?
- Yeah, I respond
- Cool, what's your name ?
- Nina Henderson "

And on that the bell ring to announce the beginning of classes.
