"Owwie...What time is it.." Butters said slowly rising from his bed. He looked around cautiously noticing a bandage on his lower left cheek. "Gee..I guess something happened last night..." He carefully felt the cotton padding as the crisp morning breeze blew through the cracks of his window sill across his pale skin.
"Butters! Butters!" A deep broading voice protruting from below called out growing closer.
'Uh oh..Dads gonna be mad if he sees me awake...' Butters thought subconsciously forming tears in his eyes.
"Butters, are you awake? It's time for school." Stephen said opening the door to his sons room.
"Y-yes sir..." Butters stumbled over his words.
"Thats good, keep being a good boy for Mommy and Daddy, alright?"

"Yes sir..."
School wasn't the wrost for Butters, eventhough hes the main target for bullying, he'd still rather go there then stay home. Butters gathered enough strength to climb out of bed to get changed, along side with the every morning stop Butters makes and looks a stained spot on his bedroom floor. The memories of his parents locking him in his room for days on end, leaving him to sob quietly in the same spot for hours. As quickly as the tears formed in his eyes he wiped them away with the sleeve of his pajama top. Butters grabed a shirt from his closet and began to take his own off. Small scratches and cuts littered his lower ribcage, with the ocasional bruise appearing on his fore-arms. Butters didn't pay attention to any of the minor wounds anymore, he'd be a little shocked to see less of them appearing each morning. Once he finished getting dressed he went to go eat breakfast then brush his teeth. On the way to the bus stop he noticed someone waiting alone.

"Hey Kenny!" Butters called out to the orange hooded kid.
"Oh, hey Leo." Kenny muffled giving a wave.
Leo was the nickname Kenny gave to Butters based on his first name 'Leopold'. Butters didn't mind as much as the others around him did. He would often get giggles tossed around at his expense, he did appriciate Kenny's kindness towrds him though.
"Hey! What happened to your face Leo!?" Kenny said franticaly removing his hood. Kenny's face didn't look much different from how Butters' look currently. His face was covered in faded scars. His eyes were a pale blue colour, so pale it looked as if he were a ghost.
"Ah, I think I got in trouble with Dad again..." Butters replied holding the cotton padding on the left side of his face.
"Whaddu' mean you think?" Kenny asked with a concerned tone.
"W-well, I don't exactly remember much of last night..." Butters said as he moved his hand to his neck.
The truth is, Butters didn't remember alot from last night. All he could remember was the cornor he would cry into, and his fathers blurry image swinging at him.
"Well, do you remember anything?" Kenny asked removing Butters' hand from his neck and placing it into his own.
"Uh-uhm n-no not really Ken, I'm sorry...."
"Leo...you don't need to apologize for not remembering...It's ok.."

Distant chatter could be heard opposite from where Kenny and Butters were standing. Once the boys heard this they both quickly removed their hands from eachothers grasps.
Kyle was the first one to arrive at the bus stop out of the group of three walking together.
"Goh-GODDAMNIT Kahl- stahp running, it isn't a fucking race!"
Cartman complained while catching his breath.
"I wasn't running, Fatass!" Kyle exclaimed.
"SHUD'DUP KAHL, your jew-legs are to goddamn long!" Cartman complained once more.
"Hey, Kenny!" Stan greeted as he steped ahead from the two boys bickering.
"Oh, hey Stan." Kenny muffeled as he put his hood back on.
"Whats goin' on with Butters? Why does he have a bandage on his cheek?" Stan questioned gustering over to Butters.PART ONE COMPLETE!
