POV Joseph
"Ok, Joseph now remember, don't overpour if you over pour the flavor of the drink will be unbalanced and the customer will most likely not like it," Joseph kept nodding; his mom always made him do the basics before opening the tavern she would call it a warm-up for him just so his skills didn't rust . " remember, Always keep a steady hand, don't be nervous, and don't overthink otherwise you'll get in your own head and mess up the drink in other ways, "his mom said getting up from her seat, she made her way to the sign on the door and flipped it to open as soon as she did that customers start coming in sitting down waiting for someone to take there order his mom did half while Joseph did half, most of them were only asking for mead which was good since he didn't have to make several different combinations. His dad had already prepped the stew fox horn rabbit earlier for the customers and served each of them. Right now, Joseph and his Mother were only pouring drinks to customers. This went on till 10 P.M. at this time, most of the usuals customers at the tavern had already left or bought a room for themselves; right now, Joseph was cleaning the tables when he heard his Mom and Dad coming his way; he turned to them and noticed they had coats he curiously asked if they are going somewhere " Yes, me and your mother need to buy some meat from the butcher near the village we'll be gone until morning for the meantime we want you to lock everything and watch the Tavern," Joseph nodded he's done it before what can go wrong.
His mother kissed him on the cheek while his father gave him the keys to lock the gates. Before he left, his father said, " Try not to invite any ladies ", his father chuckled, while his mother playfully slapped him. Joseph rolled his eyes his father always liked to tease him.

Joseph managed to finished cleaning the tavern early he went to go lock the door when all of the sudden, " Hello, are you still open Mr. Bartender", said in a soft voice, Joseph turned and said " Sorry were clo-," he stopped the sentence and stared at the woman.

The woman towered over Joseph; from the look of her armor and weapon, she is a soldier for whom he didn't know. Joseph always gets nervous in front of woman, especially dragons kinds. He has never met any species of dragons; all dragons have a human form; their natural form can demolish an entire village; they keep to themselves and rarely show up in any town; she cleared her throat, trying to gain Joseph's attention "Excuse me I was wondering if your still open, "Joseph stuttered" S-Sorry maam, were closed," the woman sighed, "Really, alright sorry for the bother," she opened the tavern's door, Joseph noticed that outside it was pouring, he sighed, and quickly said " Wait," the woman turned around " what will your order be," Joseph said turning on the flame for the stew, the dragon woman smiled and said " well for starters can you get me a good drink and some food for right now please," she said with a warm smile, Joseph's face warmed up, he nodded and poured mead out for he with a bowl of the stew his father made she gave him some coins for the food. Joseph counted the coins and noticed that she overpaid " Excuse me, Miss, you overpaid the amount; she nodded and said, " I know, I want you to keep me accompany," Joseph Stuttered "W-What," he saw her pat the seat next to her," cmon its a long night, and I'm pretty sure you got nothing else to do," Joseph sighed and nodded, he made himself a simple mead with stew and sat next to her when he got near her, he noticed weapon and insignia with the two swords on it.
