Day 5: Hanging Out

You felt warmth as you woke up. You assumed it was your blanket at first but then remembered what had happened last night. You looked over to see Gonner sleeping heavily next to you, his arm around your waist. You thought about it for a second, processing what was happening then and there. You softly took his arm off you as you sat up and yawned so long you thought god had taken your soul for a quick second. You stretched your arms out and behind you as you slouched down after, looking at the snoring pirate boy. You ruffled his hair poking out of the do-rag he wore. You quickly got out of bed, not to wake him up. You grabbed some shorts, and a t-shirt to wear for today. You had no plans, so you could just be at home all day. You went to the bathroom, closed the door and got dressed after taking a shower. You smelt like..  whatever your favorite smell was. You got out of the bathroom to see Gonner still asleep as you went to your mothers room to use her bathroom and get the blow dryer as you blow dried your hair. It got all frizzy. You combed it down and got majority of the tangles. It was too hard to get all of them though. You walked back into your room, checking your phone as you sat down on your bed again. Your brother had sent you the picture he took last night of you and Gonner sleeping together peacefully as ever. You texted him back. "When did you take that 😭. We're just friends dude-" He replied quite quickly. "I don't believe that for one second. You're both so cute together though 😚😚" he stated. "You made him sleep with me you bastard 😢" you replied. You turned your phone off and layed back down next to Gonner. You sighed, Closing your eyes as you put your hands on your stomach, looking up at the ceiling. You heard a voice. " Hey Y/N. Nice to see ye lovely face this mornin'" Gonner had said, as you made a noise in response. " it's nice to see you too Gonner... hey, do you have any plans today? If not we can just hang out." You said, looking at the pirate who was now sat up. " I suppose not.. we can talk today." He said, smiling weakly at you. You sat up aswell and you both sat there for what felt like forever. You eventually leaned on his shoulder as you closed your eyes moments after. " so.. what are we even gonna do today lassie?" Gonner asked in a gentle tone. " I'm not sure.. can you go outside in the sun?" You asked. " I don't think so.. but I'm not sure. " he said. " if you don't think it's too risky, we could see." You suggested. " hopefully I can, it would be a shame if I shriveled up into a wee little dust pile." He said, putting his thumb and index finger together imitating something shrinking. You laughed a bit before getting up. You hopped off your bed. " are you hungry?" You asked. " a tad bit. Aye' only eat cats though..so." He looked at you with zero expression. " I can uh.. get you one. There's a bunch of strays here so. But your going to eat in the back shed or something. I don't want to see anything with it." You gaged just thinking about it. " That'll be alright lass. I would love to come with you if you'd like me too. Good time to see if I can go outside." He offered. You nodded as you got your shoes on. Your brother fell back asleep after texting you, so you snuck past him as Gonner got his shoes and hat on aswell. You both made it to the back door as you asked Gonner to step outside real quick." Alright lassie. Here it goes." He said, not thinking twice as he jumped into the sunlight. Nothing happened. " Ah. Well we've seem to come to a conclusion." He said, coming back towards your direction. You told him to follow you as you've seen a cat walk along the fence just now. You hopped towards it, and it backed away. Gonner saw the cat and was practically drooling his face off. He held himself back though as you grabbed the cat. It hissed and scratched you, even biting a few times. " Here- go into the shed and eat it." You said as Gonner nodded and went inside, you threw the cat in and shut the door. " come into the house when your done okay? I'll be waiting for you." You said to Gonner. You heard a "Mhmmm" as you practically ran into the house. You went to the kitchen to get a snack. A granola bar seemed nice. You ate that, not noticing your arms and how screwed up the cat made them. A few minutes went by, as you were sitting on the couch. Gonner went inside, totally satisfied with what he ate. " that's gross dude" you laughed as he sat next to you. "Aye well, Tis' what I have to do sometimes" he said. He looked at your arms soon after. " did that weasel scratch ye that bad me hearty?" He looked at you concerned. You had a huge gash on your right arm as he look it to look at it. " oh, I didn't notice. I'll clean it up-" " I'll help you, Tis' looks pretty nasty." He said, dragging you along to the kitchen. " we have a  medical box in the drawer." You said, pointing to one of the first drawers to your left as you started the water to wash all of the cuts off. There were minor ones, that could heal quickly, but two bigger ones. Both on the right arm and hand. Gonner went to go get the supplies as you stopped the water. He handed you the box and you had put bandages around the bigger scar and a bandaid on the smaller one your hand. You put the box away as you had then thanked Gonner for his assistance. " No need for thank ye's Y/N. I was only doing what was right." He said, giving you a hug. You heard footsteps and quickly pulled away, not wanting whoever to see. It was your brother groggily walking to get some water. "Morning," devin said." Good morning bro." " morning lad" you both said as he went back to bed with his water. " lest go back upstairs for a bit." You said. And as you had reached your room, you made your bed. " do you wanna watch a movie?" You asked. "What this 'movie' thing ye said." Gonner said, sitting down on your bed as you followed. " oh epyeah, you don't know. Uh. It's like a bunch of pictures moving. Like they took a painting and made a story out of it. Except you don't read it, you watch it." "Alright, I think I understand... a bit." He said, as you both laughed. You put on your favorite movie on your tv. Gonner seemed quite impressed about the whole ordeal. It took about. 2 hours to finish it, as you both decided to just watch movies all day. You both had the time of your lives, sometimes laughing your head off at points. Before you knew it, it was lunch time. You both made your way downstairs and into the kitchen. Gonner sat down at the table as you got a snack out of the cabinet. You sat down next to him and spoke about just the movies you've watched so far. You brother walks past. " ooooooo" he says, as you tell him to be quiet. You finished relatively quick, so you both raced up the stairs. You won because Gonner had tall lanky legs. You mocked his about it as he laughed, he pinned you down and started to tickle you Viciously. You burst out in laughter as he told you repeatedly to take back what you said. You blurted out in between laughs that you wouldn't. He smiled and refused to stop unless you gave in. You almost did when your brother came in. "Yeah Gonner, get her!" " Thanks lad!" Devin cheered him on as you yelled. "Devin how dare you !" You said. You finally caved in and took back what you said. Gonner said, "good" he said, getting off of you. You brushed off your clothes and laughed some more. Your stomach was dead trying to breathe at this point. You both spent the rest of the day in your room. It was 5:34 and it was another movie playing. You had to go to bed badly. You were so tired from all the joy and laughing that happened today. You eventually drifted off into sleep early next to Gonner as he took notice. " Ah lassie, tired yourself out again." He said. Rubbing your hair. He eventually slept next to you as your brother walked in again. You were drooling really bad as your brother snapped a picture again and ran off giggling to himself. It was nice hearing the movie play in the background as you were sleeping. You had one last thought in your mind before your slumber.
