Chapter 2

*(Y/n)'s pov*

Later that day after I finished shopping for groceries I was sitting at my desk waiting for Sally to get online. I was staring at the ceiling trying to figure out how I was going to tell her about this morning when my discord went off indicating a call. I looked at my computer to see that Sally was calling and I answered it. "Hey (Alt/Gamer/Tag)! Ready to game?" She asked seeming to be in a good mood. "Hey Sally. Yeah I'm ready! Though there's something I want to talk to you about before we do!" I replied. "Oh yeah? What do you want to talk about?" She asked and I took a deep breath and exhaled. "This is going to sound a bit weird and creepy but were you at a cafe owned by a man named Takahata with a girl who has short black hair this morning?" I asked and Sally stayed quiet for a minute or two before responding. "How did you know that? If you're following me then I'm going to go to the police!" She replied. "Hey, Hey! Calm down Sally! It was just by pure chance that I saw you there! In fact I wouldn't have even known it was you but you were talking about the Portal 2 session we had last night and brought up my gamer tag!" I replied and she seemed to accept this reply. "True. I do tend to get a bit rowdy when it comes to gaming stuff." She replied. 

"Wait a minute! If you saw me did I see you?" She asked. "Yeah you did, but I left before things got awkward. I'm the one you said looks like (Gamer/Tag)!" I replied. "I see..... I remember now! Wait! That was you?!" She said almost yelling. "Wow that was loud!" I said chuckling softly rubbing my ear. "But yeah that was me!" I said. "Wow! You know you looked a lot like that American streamer (Gamer/Tag)! Have you heard that before?" She said and I chuckled softly. "No, Not really seeing as how he and I are one in the same!" I replied and she went silent. (Alt/Gamer/Tag) Is just an account I use when I don't want to draw attention to myself or have people try to grief me." I added. "I thought your play style seemed familiar. I mean I watched your streams a lot and I even use them to try and work on learning English for classes." She replied and I nod. "I don't think learning English from me is a good idea Sally!" I said chuckling and she laughed. "Probably so!" She replied. We continued to chat a bit more and started playing some games together. Since I've told her who I was and she knows I've seen her IRL we started chatting about our day to day lives with each other more freely now.

"So (Y/n) why were you in town today?" She asked me and I smiled. "Oh I just had to run and get some groceries. I stopped at the cafe for breakfast on my way to the stores!" I told her as we waited to be put into a match on Apex. "Oh I see. Yeah I was just hanging out with my best friend since I was in elementary school!" Sally said. Apparently the girl she was eating with at the cafe was the friend who didn't game much but has been friends with her for many years. I smiled as we continued to game together. By the end of our gaming session we had decided to remain friends only online for the time being and if we wanted to meet up IRL at some point in the future then we would.
