About Time

Later that afternoon I was on the stepstool in the closet putting the pictures away, well the ones that turned out while the rest were shredded. I was about to get in the shower when I heard someone come in the front door.

"Hello?!" I heard her yell and to groaned.

"Hey Tara!" Chris said. I closed the closet door and walked out to the living room.

"Oh Eden...you're home." Tara said and I nodded walked up to stand beside Chris.

"I am, I got in a day early." I said and she sighed.

"Oh weren't needed on the shoot after all?" She asked in a snarky tone.

"No, just know how to do my job right the first time and don't fuck it up." I said and she glared at me.

"Okay ladies, retract the claws. I really wish you two could bury the hatchet." Chris said.

"Then what would she used to stab me in the back with?" I asked.

"Oh I'm sure I could find something." Tara said.

Tara and Chris were best friends way before I came into the picture but from the minute Chris brought me home to meet everyone 2 years ago Tara immediately hated me, never gave me a reason. I knew the reason, I knew she wanted Chris but he didn't feel the same way about her and had been up front and honest with her about it. This past Christmas there was a rumor going around the family that Chris was going to propose...I may have started it to upset her...she spent the better part of 2 months trying to convince Chris proposing to me would be the biggest mistake, especially after she snooped in our room and found the jewelry store bag. When Christmas night with family and friends came around Chris presented me with a jewelry box, the size of a ring box and I opened it to reveal a pendant with the date engraved on it when we met and the month stone that it was. I saw the relief on Tara's face but she was still angry I was the girlfriend getting the jewelry. I wasn't going anywhere and she figured that out then and there but we hated being around each other. I looked from Tara up to Chris.

"I was going to take a shower and then head to your moms. She wanted to see me when I got back to town." I said and Chris nodded.

"I'll be in, in a minute." Chris whispered in my ear and I smiled with a nod. I left without a word to Tara and walked towards our bedroom but stopped just around the corner. Yep, I was eavesdropping and nope, I didn't feel bad about it.

"So what's up Tara?" Chris asked and she sighed.

"Chris, I ask again....why her? You don't like me like that and that's fine but her?" Tara asked and Chris groaned.

"Tara stop...I love Eden and she loves me and I see a future with her. I'm...with...her. Get used to it." Chris said and I smiled. "Why did you come over?" Chris asked and Tara sighed.

"I was going to see if you wanted to go out and do something because I didn't think she was back in town and I wanted to get you out of the house." Tara said and Chris shook his head.

"Well Eden is back and we are going to go get ready to go to my mom's." Chris said and Tara nodded.

"I haven't seen your mom in a while..." Tara said and Chris shook his head.

"No Tara. We are going alone." Chris said and started walking Tara to the door so I quickly went into the bathroom and got in the shower. While I was getting my hair wet Chris walked in the shower with me.

"Can I help you?" I asked and he passionately kissed me pushing me against the tile wall causing me to grunt. Chris lifted one of my legs and wrapped it around him as he quickly thrusted into me and I moaned as the sudden sensation. We didn't say anything this entire time as he thrusted just heavy breathing and our lips just brushed each other's. I grabbed Chris by his necklace he always wore as a little more leverage. Once I felt myself tighten around him he started pumping faster causing more friction and I exploded all over as he released inside of me coating my walls. Once we broke apart I just looked at him.
