"I am proud of you and I know you have a chance to win. The odds are in your favour, okay. You deserve to win and I will do everything in my power to. Remember everything you learned. Believe in you and remember you have the right to win, you deserve to win. In the arena you are excuse of everything you do to win." Cecelia hugged Aria so firmly that she thought her ribs would be broken."T-Thanks Cecelia..I can't breathe." She relaxed her embrace immediately. "Don't worry, it's a see you soon for me." She smiled and left to the hovercraft.
You can do this. Stay focus.
"From the clothes you are wearing, expect cold night. Maybe woods. See you soon Aria, I believe in you." Crystal said while giving a hug. Aria nodded and went inside the tube.
She immediately was pushed on, she could feel the pressure in her ears, she knew there was no way to escape her faith now. Crystal was right, woods was covering her sight. Everything was just green and the smell of pine infuriated her nostrils. Beside her stood Rue and a Tributes she didn't know the name. She made eye-contact with Rue, she tried to give her a reassured smile.
"Happy 74th Hunger Games and may the odds be ever in your favour." An unknown voice said while the countdown started.
Breath just breath Aria everything will be okay
"40"
I want to win, I need to win, I deserve to win. Like Cecelia said we are excused of our actions here. I am going back home. I promise to my siblings.

The countdown finished and a sound was made to announce the debut of the Games. Aria ran toward the Cornucopia with all her might. Half way to the Cornucopia, she was hit by a knife in her left arm. She cried out of the pain, but shrugged it off while making contact to her attacker. Her attacker was Dalia, the girl she tried to make an alliance with. Why was she doing? And when did she learn how to throw a knife? Dalia charged at her, knocking her down from behind. Aria tried to push her from her, but couldn't. The pain in her arm was unbearable.
"I'm sorry. If I kill you now, I may have a chance to win. Like I said, you are a threat here." She was about to slice her throat, however, Aria kicked her with her forehead. It made Dalia closed her eyes and she took out the knife from her injured arm and plant it on her chest. Her eyes widened while they lost all sign of liveliness. A canon went on.
I just kill someone
She eyes around to find the bigger bag and approached it. A hand touched the bag at the same time, Aria was ready to kill if needed. She already killed Dalia so why not an other one? Gosh, Dalia had a family. A pair of brown eyes met hers, Rue. She looked terrified.
"We should get going, it's not safe to stay here any longer with the career pack wanting to bigger their body count." Aria urgently said. Rue looked confused and nodded while following Aria towards the woods. The screams of Tributes were all she could hear while she ran with Rue by her side. She didn't know why she had chose a twelve years old girl to be her ally.
The gate to the wood was right before them, Aria heard a voice she recognized all to well.
"Aria! Wait for me!" She turned around, Jacob was running some feet away. A grinned formed, Jacob wasn't dead! He will live. Aria laughed of happiness. Rue and Aria were shouting to him that he was getting closer to them until he suddenly stopped running and fell.
Spear clutched at his back, Aria's eyes widened as her horrified face looked at her dead partner.
"No! No, no ,no!" She was becoming mad like the Victor from the 70th hunger Games. Who did it? Her eyes searched for the killer and saw no one, but Marvel Sanford. She saw nothing, just red.
The District 8 female's Tribute knew that if she was to interfere, she would probably died. All she could think was how he killed Jacob. She wanted to rush to him and make him pay, to avenge her district partner. She stepped forward.
"We need to go." A little voice said and she was back to reality. Aria couldn't kill him yet, he was more stronger than her. The bloodbath was the moment all careers waited for. She nodded to Rue and ran into the woods without looking back at the corpse of Jacob.
While running she understood why she unconsciously chose Rue for ally, she was what was keeping her from doing foolish things. She was helping her keeping herself alive a little longer.
"I'm sorry about your district partner. The two of you seemed close."
"We never knew each other before the Games, he didn't deserve to.. to be kill so soon. He was too young, too innocent. I'll make him pay for ever landing a hand on Jacob, I don't care if it kills me." The oath will be her ultimate goals before leaving the arena.
The evening came by so the two Tributes thought it would be better to set a camp. Rue taught Aria how to climb a tree and they opened the big bag. It had a sleeping bag, a empty water bottle, two proteins bars, two set of crackers and one knife. They ate each a proteins bars while they snuggled in the sleeping bag.
Aria woke up when she heard the song for the fallen Tributes, she bit her bottom lip. Seeing the face of Dalia made her feel empty. She didn't know why she wasn't crying or screaming of pain, she was just empty. It probably was because they were watching her every moves. While the face of Jacob only made her angrier and determinate to kill Marvel. She was about to fall asleep again when the sound of a parachute was heard. Aria looked up and smile weakly. The parachute contained a note and a strange cream.
Your injury at your left arm, applied the cream on it. You did a good job, you have sponsors, continue like this.
-Cecelia
Aria remembered her injury and applied the cream on it. She didn't feel the pain, maybe her body was slowly becoming use to the trauma she had.

"Water, there's water!" Rue yelled while Ari was setting snares. She followed her, they drank like they never did. They both decided to take a pause. Silence filled the air, the only possible sound was the water falling and the wind breezing their skins.
"Did you ever love someone?" Aria opened her eyes and looked puzzled to Rue's question.
"Well I already liked someone, love is so, so confusing." She remembered the time she had feelings for Felicity, she didn't know if she really like her, it was the closest thing to that feeling she thought.
"What about you and Clove? I saw the two of you looking at each other every once in a while. You seemed close." Clove. All the feelings she had for were to be forbidden. She couldn't think about her for her own safety. For the safety of her heart.
"Not anymore." Aria blurted out.
"Not anymore?" Rue asked curiously, but Aria didn't want to go there.
"You should rest, we will be moving soon."
