You both lined up your boards getting ready as the count down started.

You both hopped on your skateboards, keeping up with each other.

Surprisingly, you were beginning to get ahead of Cherry making the crowd go silent with concentration.

As you both make it into the building though, Cherry started gaining more speed and got ahead of you making a group of fangirls say nasty things about you.

"What the hell" you mumbled hoping Cherry wouldn't hear but unfortunately he did, "sorry about that just don't listen to them"

"You think I'd actually believe what they say? Yeah no" you say confidently "Just saying" Cherry replied trying not to break that confidence.

You lost. Although you lost by hair so that's something. You actually felt impressed with your skills, thinking you'd be shit against him.

You also heard some complaints from time to time. Some fangirls, some dumb lowlifes who'd probably lose against you so you didn't care and just brushed them off.

Or at least that's what you wanted to do.

But when you got out of your thoughts, you noticed Cherry leaving. No warning. No hint. No bye.

"Aww no goodbye?" You teased. "Nope" he bluntly replied without looking but you could tell he was holding back a smirk with his tone.

Out the corner of your eye you see this guy staring at you intensely with curiosity written all over his face. 'Damn is his hair red.'

                 Cherry's POV
'There's something about that person.. I feel comfort but I just met them so that's weird. Fuck it I'm just gonna go to Kojiro.'

I arrive at the restaurant, seeing the luminescent lights on meaning he's there. I walk inside making my presence known to the green haired guy.

"Well if it isn't my dear friend" Kojiro cooed

I hate this already.

I rolled my eyes at his words "Surprise me with something."

"Oh? Thinking about something aren't you?"  Kojiro said while making some random dish

I scoffed at him, not wanting to respond though it was obvious that I was.

"Or should I say..someone?" He dragged out raising an eyebrow

'Someone' Why can't I get my mind off them? I just met them I shouldn't be putting so much thought into them they'll probably just leave in a week so I should just quit it.

Ko notice me zoned out and snapped his fingers "So it is someone! I'm so good at guessing" he praised himself

"No it's not. Just shut up" I wanted to tell him about them but I knew he would just tease me about it and I didn't feel like dealing with that so I kept quiet as he slid the dish over to me

It was my favorite. I smiled a little at the small act
