Two weeks. It has been two weeks since Rosa had last heard from Kai. She stopped by his apartment and got no answer. Alejandro suggested he probably left back to Portland to rule over his coven now that he is the leader. But Rosa was upset, he wasn't replying to any of her texts and over the phone, Kai will tell her he's busy and to call back later. The Valencia female let out a loud groan and slouched down in the booth. Jess, Caroline and Alejandro all turned to look at her. Jess with amusement, Caroline with concern and Alejandro with annoyance. The four of them were at The Wave having some drinks and food trying to cheer up Rosa from Kai's absence.
Rosa finally confessed to Caroline her situation with Kai. Caroline was thrilled. She knew there was an allure between Rosa and Kai that anyone with eyes can see. Plus, Kai was a good looking guy and Rosa is a gorgeous girl so Caroline thought they made the perfect couple. Of course, the female Valencia insisted that it's more a friends with benefits type of relationship but Caroline wasn't dumb. She can see clearly between both of them that the feelings are much deeper then just benefits. Even though her main focus was on Alejandro the night of the incident, Caroline did look back at Kai as they left the woods seeing the hurt on his face. A part of Caroline did feel bad though cause she knew Stefan had the biggest crush on Rosa.
"Can you not be so dramatic, Rosa Alicia?" Alejandro sighed leaning against the wall where he was sitting. He had his arm laying across the top of the booth as Caroline rested against him.
Rosa puckered her lips at her twin and rolled her eyes turning towards her best friend. "Jess, please tell Alé that he is being an ass and that the sole reason for him being here is to cheer me up. He's not doing a good job about it."
Both Jess and Caroline laughed while Alejandro scoffed. Seth and Marcus made they was over towards the booth and Rosa scrunched up her nose at the sight of Marcus. She still hadn't forgiven him entirely for his behavior at the party but he is one of Alejandro's best friends so Rosa has been keeping it civil whenever he is around.
"Spring fling fraternity ball event is coming up soon, who's excited?" Marcus exclaimed as he took a seat beside Jessica causing Rosa to scoot closer to wall. Seth pulled a bar stool to the booth seating at the edge of the table.
Caroline beamed, "I can't wait, I love formal events! The dresses, Alex in a suit, the venue."
Seth smiled at Caroline and then turned to look over at Rosa, "Rosie, I've been meaning to ask. Do you want to be my date to the spring fling?"
Rosa's eyes widen slightly. She wasn't expecting Seth to ask her to be his date. Since the party, Rosa hasn't spent a lot of time with Marcus and Seth like she used to. Rosa mainly blamed Marcus for what happened but Seth did play along. The Valencia female turned to look at her twin who simple shrugged his shoulders. Rosa let out a small laugh, that was basically Alé's way of say he doesn't care what she does, it's up to her.
