Will Byers is painting a huge dragon on his canvas and he's almost finished. He softly dips the brush into the red paint to finally touch up the scales on the dragon. He tightens his fingers around the brush while looking at anything else in the painting that needs help. He sets all of his tools down then gets up from stool and backs up to admire his artwork.

He's proud of himself and the work he had made but still sees room for improvement. He carefully picks up the whole thing and sets it aside for it to fully dry so he can put it in a neat pile or he can put it on his wall with his favorites. He looked on his walls to see his favorite paintings and smiled softly. He heard a soft knocking "Hey, Will?"

He turns his head to the door and says "Come in". The door opens quietly and a long black haired boy with a spotted face and dark brown eyes comes into Wills room. Will thought he was just so attractive and had small butterflies circling his stomach seeing him "Oh, hey Mike" Will says while turning to look at him. "Uh hey" he smiles "I just wanted to say hi or whatever. I just wanted to make sure your okay." Will chuckled a bit, "Why wouldn't I be Mike?".

"Well...I don't know" He shrugged "I just thought you needed some company I guess" He sits down on his bed. The comforter being a pastel yet dull yellow, and very neat and soft. He almost felt bad for messing it up, but he's sure that Will wouldn't mind. "I guess I do need the company" he smiles at Mike brightly.

'His smile...' he thinks to himself

'I haven't seen it in a while'

I remembered when he never used to smile big like this, when we came to California, he almost never smiled. It upset me a lot because his smile is really pretty, his bunny teeth are a big thing to his smile that make it special... y'know? It's just...to see him smiling and happy makes me feel...warm.

Is it weird to be thinking about him like this?

He drifts away from his thoughts as Will sits down on the bed next to him, fidgeting with his hands.

He fidgets with his hands for quite a minute until Mike says something. "So uh, that painting over there. Can I see it?" His eyes widen slightly, excited to show him the painting "Sure!" He tried not to sound too happy but he did anyways. He got up and walked over to the painting of my red furious dragon whose flames were spreading all across the village below.

I find comfort in this painting, in all of my paintings! They're very special to me...

Will forgot that the painting was still drying and he motions his hands for Mike to come and see the painting instead. He gets up and walks over beside me to see the painting, "Wow...that's amazing Will!" He pauses for a second but still looking at the painting. "I guess it's still drying huh?". "Yeah, I just finished right before you came in" Will says. Mike looks at Will and smiles.

Mike's deep brown eyes and his pretty freckles make me want to...

I've edited this to be slightly more descriptive and I'm going to be writing more parts to this so I'm excited!

I know that in the introduction i said that Eddie is still alive and was just unconscious in the upside down but he's most likely dead in the show because those things literally ate him alive 😍 I don't wanna believe it though...I liked his character tbh. BUT IMA PRETEND IT NEVER HAPPENED.
