A/N Imagine Liam and Jack talking as Jack makes a cup of tea and Liam sits Lottie down at the table
"Jack, where's she gonna sleep?" Liam asks as he puts me down in a chair at the kitchen table. Jack thinks for a bit whilst pouring the milk into a cup of tea. "She can sleep in the spare room. We'll go looking for a better bed for her tomorrow" Liam nods and sits next to me. Jack winks at me and hands Liam the cuppa. "There you go" Liam smiles and fist bumps our brother. "Ta. You not gonna have one Jack?" Jack shakes his head and sits opposite us. "Nah. Not thirsty. Lottie, can you tell us more about you? I only know that you don't like car seats, you're our sister and you seem to like Liam's hoodie a lot" I giggle and lean against Liam. "It smells like him, it's comforting" Jack chuckles rubbing his nose and shifts in his seat. "I like porridge with honey in for breakfast, when I get it, and I like berries because I can swallow them easily" Liam nods but Jack holds up a finger, looking concerned at something I said. "Lottie, you said when you get it in reference to breakfast choices. What did you mean by that?" I shrug as if I don't know. "Come on Lottie, you do know otherwise you wouldn't have said it" I sniff and feel a tear run down my cheek. Liam looks down and on seeing my tears, puts an arm atround me. Jack gets up and makes his way towards me. I flinch thinking that he's angry and is going to yell and hurt me like Ben does. Instead he does the opposite and sits on my other side putting an arm round me like Liam has done. "Shh. What is it? You can tell me, I won't be mad" "Well, Ben tells me that when I'm good I'll get to eat because only good girls get to eat. But according to him, I'm always a bad girl" Jack and Liam exchange a look and Jack rubs my back. "Listen everyone deserves to eat, good or bad. Why does he say that you are always bad?" I sniff. "Because I always asked questions. He says I should never ask questions" Jack shakes his head. "Listen to me, asking questions is never wrong. In fact me and Liam would rather you ask questions than stay in the dark" I nod and he leans his head against mine. "Promise me to always ask if you want to know something" I nod and tell him that I promise. He winks and stands up. "Liam, entertain your sister, whilst I ring someone at work to ask for reduced shifts" "Yes Jack. Want to watch TV Lottie?" I nod and allow him to lift me up onto his hip.
