The bird that started it all

Robin and Alex have been friends for ages ever since nursery today however was different Robin woke up to the sound of a bird chirping outside his window "fine I'm up!" Robin shouts he gets out of the bed and looks through his window to see a tiny robin on perched on a branch "what a coincidence" Robin says he gets dressed and walks in to the kitchen a piece of toast on a plate catches robin's eye beside it a note from his mother it reads. To Robin I had to go to work to day there's toast on the side so get that in you and be good at school love you -mum p.s I already took your sister Robin eats the toast looks at the clock to see school starts in 2 minutes oh no Robin rushes out the door sprints down the street and half way there see's Alex waiting for him at the entrance Alex quickly changes from nervous to relief  he smiles and waves Robin sighs of relief and looks up at Alex but he feels different his smile shines in the sun the blossoms from the leaves sway back and forth 'what's this feeling' Robin
thinks 'it's new it's different I've never felt this way looking at Alex' suddenly "AHHHH" Alex and Robin fall to the ground "sorry Alex I was in a world of my own then hehehe"Robin embarrassed gets up and helped Alex up too " it's ok but it was scary when you just ran at me without any expression hehehe" they both went to school but something was bugging Robin through form and 1st period 'what was THAT Alex he...he looked dreamy' Robin started thinking some sinful thoughts about Alex and quickly snapped out of it 'no no no no no I'm not gay right? no it can't be that it's probably just a one time thing and it won't happen again' Robin nodded then 2nd period went on as normal but break was different Robin met up with Alex again they chatted bought a bottle of water and just as Robin thought it has ended it happened again his eyes sparkled his smile gleamed Robin could get lost in his eyes for hours "so should I?" Alex asked "huh?" Robin realised Alex was talking to him "should I go to the dance on Friday I know I don't have anyone to go with but I thought it would be fun" Alex was thinking when Robin jumped in and said "I'll go with you" "What!" Alex surprisingly said "to the dance so it wouldn't be weird" Robin said calmly Alex lit up and jumped "yes!!"
