Chapter 5

* "Hi Vanessa" I sassed back. *
"Well why is our sassy princess here waiting by the principal" She said raising her eyebrow.
"None of your business" I said turning to my phone.
"Well well if I was you I wouldn't be so mean, cuz I can make your life a living hell" And with that she walked away. Ugh I hate her so much. While I was cursing in my head about Vanessa my mom came out of the room.
"You can go to your classroom, here's a note, you need to give it to your teacher" she said with an emotional less expression.
"Are you mad" I asked with puppy eyes.
"No, but you gotta think of school honey" she said smiling and hugging me. I whispered an okay.

When I arrived at the classroom all eyes were in a millisecond looking towards me. I gave the note to the teacher and he nodded. I stepped to the only chair that wasn't taken. The one that sat next me was Ethan.
"Why are you late?" He asked me. Should I tell him about Calum? Nah I will tell it another time cuz what if someone hears me.
"I overslept" I said half smiling. He nodded and we continued listening to the boring history of America.

The bell rang and I packed my bag. I stepped into the hallway when someone grabbed my arm.
"What is the real reason why you're late? I know you were lying" Ethan said. Ethan and I always know when the other is lying. Is some cases it's helpful but in this case it's terrible.

I pulled him to a place were no one was.
"You really wanna know?" I asked.
"Yea"
"Know 5 seconds of summer?"
"Yea... Why" okay I'm gonna say it. I'm really nervous, it's not like I don't trust him but I'm afraid of his reaction.
"So...ImmaybedatingCalumandmaybethatsthereasonimlate" I said saying that last part fast so he can't understand me.
"What? How? Do you actually know him?" Fuck he understood me. But why is he reacting so angry?
"Yes, he's the son of a friend of my mom" his face dropped.
"Okay, just...just know you can count on me when he breaks your heart" he said and walked away. Why was he acting so weird?

After two other hours of school it was finally lunch time.
I found my friends and sat with them.
"OMG do you guys know!!!" Mindy said enthusiastically.
"What?" We all said in unison.
"5 SECONDS OF SUMMER IS PLAYING AT OUR SCHOOL CONCERT TOMORROW!!!!" All our friends were freaking out except me. Oh no, I mean it's not like I don't want him here but we probably will look at each other the whole time or people will notice there's something between us.
"Kat aren't you excited?!" Mindy asked not getting that big smile of her face.
"Uhm yes but I was thinking of something" they all looked confused at me.
"Nothing important" I smiled. They nodded and continued eating and talking about tomorrow.

~~Calum's pov~~
*morning*
"Thanks for picking me up man" I said to Ashton.
"No problem" He smiled. I turned the volume up when slsp was on the radio. Ashton and I were signing the whole song together. I'm lying if I said that we weren't screaming through it and making weird moves.

When we arrived at the apartment I immediately ran upstairs.
"Okay which fucker took my phone and send a message to Kat" I said angrily looking at the boys. Ashton was still coming but I knew it wasn't him. He's my best friend he would never do that.
Michael looked at Luke and Luke looked down. So it was Luke?
"Gotta tell me something Luke?" I said stepping closer to Luke.
"I'm sorry..." He said still looking at the ground.
"Why did you do that?!" I said raising my voice. He flinched of the sudden yell.
"I can't tell you" he said shaking.
"Well I don't care!!! Tell me or I swear to God I'm gonna kill you" I yelled. I'm maybe overreacting but no one comes between me and Kat.
"I can't okay!!!!" He yelled back and took his jacket and went outside. The boys were awkwardly looking at each other.
Michael stood up and went to the kitchen. 1 minute later he came back with my phone. He handed it to me.
"Thanks" I said a little shy. I was embarrassed because I overreacted.
"Oh yea we've gotta play on a school concert tomorrow" Ashton said.
"Which school?" I asked. He grabbed a paper and looked at it searching for something.
"Saint Katherine school" wait isn't that Kat's school? Oh right it is!!
"That's Kat's school!" I said suddenly feeling happy.
"Really? Oh great then I get to see her again" Ashton said with a big smile. Don't be jealous Calum. He's just a friend of her.
It was midday so I went to the kitchen to eat something. While I ate my hamburger I texted Kat.
To Kat👑: 'Hey you already know of the concert?:D'
From Kat👑: 'Yea but I'm afraid someone's gonna notice there's something between us:/'
To Kat👑: 'Don't worry I'm gonna try not to look at you so much;)'
From Kat👑: 'I can look as much as I want at you cuz most of the girls will;)'
To Kat👑: 'Not fair!:o'
From Kat👑: 'gotta go byee!'
To Kat👑: 'byee!'

~~Luke's pov~~
It was already 5 pm. I was walking down the street. If Calum knew what was happening with my life right now he wouldn't be so mean. Suddenly a black car stopped in front of me. Two men stepped out of the car.
"So Hemmings, did what we asked you to do?" Two big men in a suit asked.
"Yes.." I said looking at the ground.
"Good cuz you gotta do something else, you need to break Calum and Kaitlyn apart." One of the men said with no emotion
"But why? What did they do to you?" I said a little too mean cuz the silent one of the two stepped closer with a mean look.
"We only bring the message to you the one who plans them is the one you need to ask" he said with a little smirk.
"And where can I find him?" I asked.
"You're lucky, he got with us today. He's in the car" he said dragging me towards the car. I stepped in and saw a boy of around my age sitting there.
"Well hello Luke, what are you doing here?" He asked too politely.
"Why do you want to destroy the relation between Calum and Kaitlyn?" I asked.
"Because he's not good for her, but I am" he said with an angry look.
"Who the fuck are you even?" I asked angry. He's sick.
"Ethan. Ethan Jackson."
