~~Stiles~~

I'm walking through the woods my hands in my pockets and I'm just enjoying the peace and quiet while it lasts.

I look up and around as my eyes fall on the full moon thinking how it was a very similar night when Scott was bit.

The only difference is that it was raining while tonight is a very clear night aside from the occasional cloud and I smile looking up at the stars feeling calm when I hear a snap.

I wheel around to the source of the sound and look around not seeing anything. I look for a stick to use incase whatever tries to attack, and I find a decent stick. I hold it like a baseball bat to be ready if whatever is out here attacks and I again here a snap.

I turn on my heel looking to where the snap came from looking every which way for what it is, and I yell out a warning "I'm warning you! Stay back or you'll be in for a serious head injury!"

I look around and decide I should call Scott. I take one hand from the stick to my pocket grabbing my phone and I keep looking incase whatever is out here tries to use me calling against me.

I press call and put it on speaker. I place my phone on my shoulder so I can hold the stick with two hands and not long does Scott answer "Hello?"

I tell him "Hey Scott I need some help like now." He speaks back now worried "Why? What's wrong?"

I respond "Umm, well, I went for a walk in the preserve and now I keep hearing twigs snap. So, I think there's something out here hunting me, and I was wondering if you can come help or I might become someone's dinner."

He replies back "I'm on the way, should we stay on the phone or . . ." I say, "I should keep my attention to whatever is messing with me and you being on the phone is making it a little difficult so just get here. . . Sooner rather than later."

I take my phone off my shoulder ending the call and now all I have to do is hold off till Scott gets here."

I feel a gust and I see a glance of the creature. My eyes widen as it looks at me and I swallow seeing the glowing red eyes.
