I suddenly opened my eyes, slowly analyzing my surroundings. Then shakingly begin to sit up feeling groggy and out of place. Next to me, there is a bike and a wallet, also... "Oh my God!" I yelped as I realized that I'm sitting on the side of a road. In a panic, I quickly pick up the banged-up bike and the mysterious wallet. Once I'm in a safe place I readjust myself trying to calm down.
While calming down there is a vibrating feeling in my left pocket. Reaching into the pocket I take out a phone. Looking at the cellular device it reads "Unknown Number" on the screen. Curiously I answered the call. "Hello?" I say waiting for a response from the other end. "Uh, Hi, Yes, Is this Y/n?" the caller asked.
Blinking, I processed the question, then quickly answered "Ah. Yes! This is them." "And who are you?" Then they responded, "I am one of the managers from HYBE Labels" "HYBE Labels?" I wondered why that name sounded so familiar. Then it hit me. "W wait HYBE Labels?!, as in the same HYBE Labels that work with the K-pop boy group Enhypen?!" People looked at me awkwardly as I jumped up and squealed, at the words that the latter had said on the other line.
In embarrassment I apologized softly to the startled people in the cafe and then, slowly began to sit back down in my seat. "Yes, the manager said, chuckling a bit at my reaction" "Okay, so why are you calling me?" My heart started beating faster, in the anticipation of what the manager was gonna say. "Well... I'm calling because I have a job for you here at the company. You see, one of our workers here got into a pretty bad accident last night, and they're not in the best condition right now"
I was so shocked at what I was hearing. "That's weird," I said. "For some reason, I woke up on the side of a road today, and I don't remember anything from last night." "I'm sorry to hear that, but now I guess I should tell you what's gonna happen next"
I shifted in my seat and giggled, liking the opportunity to turn my tragic life around. "Yes, that would be great thank you" Finally, the latter spoke again this time with a sweeter tone to their voice. "Okay, so one of our chauffeurs will come to pick you up and bring you here to the building then we can get you started with your new job" I nodded even though they couldn't see me doing so. "Okay, I'll just wait here, I said" "Well see you then," The manager said. "Bye, bye!" I said at last before hanging up.
