A boy went in the lake in its sunset,
accompanied by a net and a boat.
How glad he's to fish before dinner's set!
There he goes in his boat staying afloat.
His face is surrounded by a big grin,
excitement fills him up in the inside.
But alas! He got none in his fishin'.
He went home and left his net on the side.
His big grin turned to smurk of frustration,
no fish, no dinner. No dinner, Dad's mad.
Overencumbered by devastation,
laddy's really down. Yes, down so bad.
Yet his Dad said, "Don't worry it'll be fine.
There will be tomorrow to fish again.
Don't worry, for tomorrow comes the sunshine.
Don't cry, lad, for what you did isn't vain.
The boy changed his sorrow into a smile.
No more frowns and the mask of frustration.
His Dad said, "Son, take a rest for a while."
The boy slept without tears in his cushion.
