Chapter 2

Aera's POV

After we arrived we went staight to an arcade with VR.

"Let's make a bet, Heeseung." I said as soon as we entered the arcade.

"Betting makes it more fun, sure" He said as he started to put his gear.

"So if I win, you eat a pint of mint choco infront of Sunoo. Deal?" I asked not able to contain my smile.

"Deal. But if I win, you let us hear your title track. Deal?" Seriously, he wants them to first hear it.

"Deal." He'll not win.

We played Fire Force at first. It was 1:1, actually I'm not really sure if we will be able to settle the game because it's always tie.

"Ahh. VR is more tiring than just pushing bottons in your switch."

It's really true though. Playing VR, you need to move your body around, which us more tiring.

We played a lot of games and finally determined who the winner is. We went out to check what others were doing and Jake and Ni-ki is ball shooting, jay and jungwon just went out of a photo booth and sunghoon and sunoo are trying to catch a fox stuff toy.

"Hey guys! So who won?" Jungwon waved as he and Jay walked closer to us.

"We made a bet, and I don't really want to say this. But I lost." Heeseung replied as he took a seat in a mini bench acting like he is sulking.

"I won fair and square, okay. So you gotta do the dare later." I giggled which left the other two confused.

"What's the dare?" Jay asked with his one brow up. I whispered something to them and left them laughing.

"I guess my downfall makes you guys happy, huh?" Heeseung smirked and went to my brother and Ni-ki to shoot basketballs.

I watched as he threw them accurately. He's really good at it, was he an athlete? I don't think so, I never heard of that story. Was it just a hobby then? It's amazing how he never missed anything.

"Aera?" I heard Jay's voice calling for me then he waved his hands infront of me.

"Y-yes? Yes, Jay?" I said finally focusing on whatever he's saying.

"I said we can shop for new clothes later after dinner." Knowing Jay, he really is interested in fashion and have good sense. After a long time of watching him, I was able to adapt his sense.

"Sure, we have a lot on our schedule the next few weeks. We all can probably hang out like this after the end of promotions."

"You're right, we're gonna be so busy." Jungwon added as he walked going to Sunoo and Sunghoon.

"Anyway, are the rumors true? That you guys are gonna colab with  Yeonjeon sunbae?"

"What? We are?" He said trying not to spoil me anything. Too bad, Yeonjeon sunbaenim loves to spoil.

"Drop the act, Jay. She knows already." Jake stated with a smile.

Everyone gathered as we went out and shared stories as we walked. That momemt was so fun all laughs and smiles.

Heeseung's POV

After we ate dinner and after I did the dare from my and Aera's bet. Sunoo looked so happy seeing my not-so-happy face while eating his favorite flavor. We went straight to buy clothes and accessories.

Since we all know that we are gonna busy for the upcoming comebacks, we are making the most of our time together.

"Heeseung hyung, this really suits you." Jungwon said showing me brown longsleeves and black pants.

"If you wear that, you are really gonna look a lot more like Bambi, hyung." Ni-ki teased with a cute wide smile.

"Really though, it's gonna look good on you." Jungwon insisted. As others were busy, Aera took a glimpse of what's happening at our side. "Oh, I think it will good on you, Heeseung." she commented and went back talking to Jay deeply about fashion.

Jay and Aera have been best friends since we were trainees. I also hang out with them and practice singing and dancing but I was closer with the TXT members back then.

We looked around the shop and you can really see our personalities and interests based on what we bought.

The others noticed that Sunghoon has bought a lot of clothes. Like a lot. "Yah, Sunghoon hyung. Are you planning to set your own shop or something?" Sunoo teased while looking at the bags sunghoon is carrying.

"They just caught my eyes. That's why I bought them."

"You're gonna go bankrupt if you spend your money like that." I warned.

Jake, Jay and Aera looked at one another and laughed. I guess they know the importance of money in business.

"Hey guys, let's go to a music room before we head home." Aera invited.
Are we gonna sing? Are we gonna play instruments? Maybe she already has a plan in her head, a plan we can only hear later.

We arrived at a music room. I know we are here to play instruments because if we only came here to sing, we could've gone to a karaoke.

"Everyone, please take a seat." she said with a genuine smile on her face.
"Someone requested me to spoil my title track to you guys. If you know who you are, then good." she looked at them one by one and she looked at me, and I was able to see her soul.

She grabbed her guitar and sat at the center, finally playing the guitar.

She started singing which left us mesmerized. She started off with an already high key and there are some parts that are even higher. Even Jake is surprised and amazed by his sister.

The lyrics are so deep yet her voice is so soothing and angelic.

She finished of with a strum and claps were heard throughout the small room.

"I.. I wrote it. Was it good?" she said a bit nervous. How could you be so nervous when you just had an amazing performance?

"It's so good, Aira! When's the release?" Jake said assisting her with the guitar.

"Probably 3 weeks before your comeback."

"So you need to shoot everything this week?" Jungwon asked a bit worried.

"Sir, yes, sir. It's gonna be busy but of course I'll accompany you guys to the beach. They've given me a three day break you see."

"AIR is gonna love it. Other people are gonna love it." I said a bit shyly.

What? Why was I shy?

"Really, Heeseung? I'm going to do more than my best then." She smiled like an angel.

We went back to HYBE Building and we need to practice our vocals for all of the songs. It's our first full album and of course there are more songs to prepare.

I got out for a break and grabbed a drink from a vending machine. I saw a familiar hair color.

She walked in the hall with her serious face, the face she makes as an idol. She's gonna work from now on.

Than I heard her as she practiced her vocals through the hall.

Oh my god.....I went back to our practice room honestly looking starstruck.

"Hyung, are you okay? You look a bit weird." Sunoo said approaching me worriedly.

"Yes, Sunoo. I just... I just need to catch my breath." I left leaving him and the other members - as well as myself - confused.
