Meeting

Part 2

For the third time in a short period, I have no idea where I am when I wake up. Of course after a minute or two, everything comes back, and I stumble downstairs. My knee is feeling a lot betrer than yesterday, but it was swelling up, wich makes it hard for me to move around. Arriving downstairs, I see Jeremy hanging on the kitchen counter, sipping from his coffee. "You're up early" he says. "usually I'm down here alone for hours before Laura comes down" he jokes, "how's your knee?" he asks. "A lot better, thanx" I answer smiling. "Morning" I hear from behind. It is Laura, who also has come down. "good to hear your knee is feeling better." she says, and kisses Jeremy before walking into the kitchen. "You're up early" he jokes. "Yeah, I got bored of my book so I decided to come down." Laura says, and comes back with two bowls of cereal, of wich she hands one to me. Suprised I take it, and sit down to eat it. "hope you're okay with cornflakes" she says, sitting opposite to me. "yes, yes, fine, thank you." I answer truthful. "Jem, where have the dogs gone?" she asks. "Did you lock them out again?" and gets up to open the back door, letting the two happy dogs in. "We really need to get a door stop." she sighs. "we used to have that problem." I say. "our rabbits roam free in our house, but they can come out too. But then sometimea they would be outside, and the wind would shut the door and lock them out. Of course the rabbits didn't really mind, but if it starts raining..." and I laugh at the though of my three little rabbits, soaking wet... Poor things. "Don't you miss your pets?" Jeremy asks, and comes down to the table too. "Jeremy really can't travel without there two." Laura says, and pets the dogs. "yeah, a little." I say. I do miss them, but there is so much going on here, I can barely think abiut other things. "Hey, Arya? Do you think your knee is good enough to come with us to a premiere?
