Pranking Cupid

            “Alright! Well, it’s is my friend Andy’s birthday today, so you know what that means!” I said to the camera which was being held by Lily, “Birthday Prank!” I said, throwing confetti into the air, “Kay, here’s the plan. I have tons of saran wrap, and my friend Andy is being held up by Noah, who is showing him some of my old videos. Andy’s car is parked outside Noah’s house a little to the right of a light post. So our plan is to take all this saran wrap and roll it all around his car and the pole and basically cover his car with it so that he can’t get in or push it because it’s around the pole too. Once we are done, I’m going to text Noah-” I showed the camera my iPhone, “And say, ‘I’m done with my homework.’ So! Here goes nothing!” I cheered. Lily placed the camera on the tripod and grabbed a thing of saran wrap from the pile next to the BMW. We laughed as we ran in circles around the car and the pole, rolling the thing of saran wrap under the car to each other and tossing it over the car to each other as well. Once we had used the entire pile of saran wrap, I texted Noah. He answered with a simple ‘K’ and Lily and I grabbed the camera and tripod, jumping into the bushes. Lily poked the lens out of the bush to video tape Andy’s reaction. We saw him walk down the driveway and spot his car. His jaw dropped and he walked closer to it. He pulled at the saran wrap that was around the pole, but it didn’t snap, as we had gotten extra strength. Lily and I were biting our lips harshly to keep from giggling. Suddenly he started laughing and he stood up.

            “Chloe!” he yelled, “You can come out now!” I smiled and got out from behind the bushes, careful not to poke myself. Andy knew it was us as he had helped me with Lily’s birthday prank. I heard Lily following with the camera and I hugged Andy. He was chuckling, “Nice one Chlo, but how do I get it off?”

            “That’s your problem!” I said, waving my hand and facing the camera, “Right! Thanks for watching Andy’s birthday prank! I will have a new prank up next weekend, but remember to post your own pranks as a video response! Also, if you have the really good idea, but don’t want to get caught, don’t have the supplies, or blah blah, comment the idea bellow or-” I held out the last letter of ‘or,’ “Email me! If this is the first video of mine you’ve watched my email is ChloeBoo@gmail.com. You can email me for literally everything, from pranks to hate or even if you just wanna talk or get to know me or Lily. Lily knows the password, and if the email is for Lily, in the subject line start with Lily and put one of those, uh, what are they called?”

            “Colons.” Lily said.

            “Colons! And put your subject line. Same if it’s for me, but with my name. So that’s it! I love you guys-” I made a heart with my hands, “-and I will see you next week! Bye!” I cried and Lily pressed stop. I sighed and loaded the tripod and empty saran wrap boxes into the trunk of my car, “Well, good luck Andy!” I said as Lily and I got into the front of my car. I drove down the street and turned to go deeper into our neighborhood. After a few minutes, I pulled into my driveway and we got out, grabbing the camera. We left all the boxes in there to take care of later. I stuffed my key into the lock and we ran up the stairs and shut my room door behind us. I pulled my Mac out of the laptop bag that I keep in my closet and set it up on the bed as Lily plugged the camera in.

            “So, how are you and Noah doing?” I asked and wiggled my eyebrows suggestively. She blushed and shrugged.

            “I-uh-well-good.” She finished lamely. I smiled and nudged her.

            “Come on Lil! Your guys’ one year anniversary is coming up. Don’t tell me you don’t have any idea what you guys are doing!” I pushed, opening my video editor app. She shrugged.

            “Honestly, he doesn’t even seem like he remembers.” She admitted and I shook my head.

            “There’s no way he doesn’t remember. He's like, completely in love with you." I said, watching the bar showing the progress of uploading videos. Lily pursed her full pink lips and threw her brown hair over her shoulder.
