Fallen Tree Friends: Malware

The Rise - Prologue

The corruption, the destruction, the hurt people. It's all everywhere seen. Everyone suffers in Happy Tree Land. What happened? And why did it happen? It isn't a happy place anymore, the ones who were once Happy Tree Friends, are now the Fallen Tree Friends. 
Not all could survive the horrific Malware that has been around for a while now. Children lost their parents and their families. 

However, two of the affected people have survived and could move on. They are willing to save Happy Tree Land and restore it from its disaster. They don't want to see innocent people suffer anymore. They are The Heroes. 
The Malware has corrupted their looks, thoughts and actions. Some are affected bad mentally by it as well.

The daily cycle stopped due to it being corrupted, therefore, it will always be night. It is unknown what day it is precisely either, however, it can still rain and storm. The weather cycle isn't affected yet. There is still some life left, but rare to be seen. On one day, they live happily, the next day, they fall into despair. 

Malware Splendid, one of the left heroes, is about to exit the buro, where they gather, but his former partner Malware Flippy talks to him once more before they do so.

"Is it already time to do something? I think we are prepared for this long adventure awaiting us."
"Yes, if we don't start to take action now, we could be late," Splendid says.
"Of course, but we should be careful. Any wrong step can lead us to defeat," Flippy announces before getting up and stopping smoking.
Flippy took his hunting rifle and a knife. The hunting rifle is for long-range and if possible, sneaking up and eliminating enemies directly.
The knife is for short-range combat and is also used as a dagger if it is needed. 
Splendid, on the other hand, doesn't need weapons. He is a superhero with many abilities. Splendid will be Flippy's secret agent and spy. He can fly, shoot lasers from his eyes, breathe ice, have supersonic hearing and much more.

"Now then, it's time to leave. I have everything I need."
"Did you pack in some cigarettes for our breaks, Flippy?" Splendid asks.
"Yes, I did. And also, extra weapons if they are needed."
"Aren't those just for you? Because I don't need any weapons."
Flippy comes closer to Splendid and gives him something in his hand. It looks like a piece of crystal.
"What is that?" Splendid asks.
"This is an item you can use to survive when you are in intense pain. In that time, you can escape. I am giving this to you because we would be separated during the fight. Of course not the whole time, but just in case I am not there and you are in trouble. It's only relevant to use if you can't take in the pain," Flippy explains. 
"Understood, but what about you? Don't you need one of those too?"
"No, I will be fine. Don't worry about me. Now, let's go out."
"Right!"

And so, the heroes left the buro, closed it down and moved away from it. No one should know about this place, it's an important piece of the area they might need to return to. Now, they are waiting for what's coming next.

It was raining outside when they left their buro. After a little bit of walking, they arrive at a specific spot. From there, they have a great view of what's happening at this moment.

"Are you seeing what I am regarding, Splendid?"
"Yes, I am. We are still on time. We are not too late for the party, are we?"
"Looks like someone is angry," Flippy mocks.
"No! I am not angry, just filled with confidence and ambition," Splendid says heroically.
"You sure are. Now, let us enter the adventure. It is finally time," Flippy says as both of the heroes walk down straight to Happy Tree Land. Their buro is just near the Land, but not in it. It was only a few hundred metres away from Happy Tree Land. However, now, Flippy and Splendid have to be more careful. Any wrong step could cause terrible consequences as Flippy announced before.
