Brook's pov

I would wake up to hear my mother screaming and crying...''LIAM WAKE UP P-PLEASE'' My mother screams while Liam laid there with his eyes closed and he was just laying there. I saw my father pulling my mother off of Liam and hugging her tightly, making my mother start sobbing into my father's chest. 

I looked at Liam and sighed before Ella was staring at the body..''H-He wasn't supposed to die'' Ella whispers I glared at her..''Seriously, Ella, this isn't the time for jokes'' I hissed and Ella shakes her head.

''The sickness doesn't kill you in one day, it takes about 3 days til a weak'' Ella says while getting up smelling the food Liam ate..''A pretzel wouldn't taste fucking sweet''Ella says seeing most of the pretzel is gone.

''Someone or one of the vendors must've poisoned the pretzel, but since poison can be hella toxic and easily kill someone...Liam must've taken a very poisoned pretzel''Ella says and my mother shakes her head softly.

''So you're saying some fucking asshole went out their way and wanted to kill people..'' My father hisses...'' That's ridiculous honestly'' My father adds while rubbing my mother's back. 

''N-No sir. I swear to you I'm not lying'' Ella said while waving her hands in front of her face while she nervously laughed...''Maybe that vendor or person knew many people would be eating pretzels last night'' Kaden muttered while sighing softly.

''W-Well go report this or something'' My mother says, her brown eyes now filled with anger and hurt. I nodded before we left the house, but my father ran outside..giving us the pretzel Liam had eaten.

''Take this to the police and ask the to look at it...please and thank you'' My father told us with a soft smile before walking inside the house. I held the pretzel that was in a clear bag and we made our way to the police station.

Once we got there, the man looked at me and chuckled...''You must be the little brats who stole the fireworks'' the police officer said while gripping my arm, but I easily pulled away before putting the pretzel in the man's face.

''My brother died from this shit and it has poison in it, please look at it'' I whispered before the police took it and smirked...''K-King Alec requested this'' Ella muttered which made the policeman's smirk fade.

The policeman glared at me before taking the pretzel into a room where you get to use an AmScope Optical. The policeman put the pretzel under and looked through the pretzel while we watched.  

''Botulinum toxin'' The policeman says while backing away from the AmScope Optical which makes me nod, not knowing what that is.

''I-It's the most dangerous poison the scientist can agree on'' The policeman says with a soft smile on his face before glancing at me.

''How many ate this shit'' Jacob asked and the policeman shrugged..''I-I don't know...just stay out of this, I don't wanna see any of your faces again. This is an adult's job'' The policeman said before shooing us off.

"Where does the vendor live'' Jacob asked Ella while putting his hands in his pocket and kicking a rock that was in front of him. 

"I think it's Mister Danny'' Ella says with a soft smile..''Oh, he's a sweet man though'' Kaden said while looking at Ella. I saw Mister Danny walking out of his house which made me run over to him..''E-Excuse me mister Danny sir, may I speak to you'' I asked him and he glared down at me.

''No, No, No'' Mister Danny repeats while walking faster which makes me sigh and try to follow after him before some man gripped my arm and pushed me back which made me scoff.

''Were you not listening when the police said not to get in an adult's way'' the man hissed before gripping my wrist and walking off with me. I tried to pull away, but the man was muscular which made it pretty hard.

"E-EXCUSE ME, SIR LET HER GO" Ella yelled while the man pushed me into the jail building and locked the door. He pushed me into a jail cell which made me look at him and he took the mask off.

The man had a scar over his right eye which blinded him, he had a neck tattoo, he was taller when you stare at him long enough, and he just smirked.

''E-Enemy'' Ella whispered before the man smirked and started shooting in the air.

''Surprise'' he whispered softly
