It has been four years now......
Isabel stepped out of her chamber wearing a blue flowery gown, she headed to the palace hall while her maids followed her.
It was Williams birthday, many guest were already filled in the hall, celebrating when she got there. They were rich people and nobel mens, some whom were from other kingdoms. She looked around and sighted Williams in the group of some young men.
"I'll go later" she said and looked around looking for Tasha.
" Hey, I've been looking for you" said a voice from behind. Isabel turned to look back,it was Tasha.
"Oh, I was looking for you too, let's go take a seat"
"Not yet Isabel, let's welcome those visitors" she said pointing to some young men who were drinking wine.
"Those are princes from other Kingdoms but the one putting on Red outfit is a cousin to me and Williams. He's Luke, his Father is my Father's younger brother"
"Really?"
"Yes but his Father is someone dangerous because he has some magical powers,we rarely relate with them. Never knew he would show up today"
"Magical powers" Isabel asked surprisedly
"Yes, he has destroyed and killed so many people with his magical powers"
"What! Why?" Isabel asked in shock
"He's greedy and wants to attain more power. He tired killing my father sometimes back because of the throne but he wasn't so powerful then so he didn't succeed but at last he gave up on the idea.
"Is he son powerful too?"
" Yes but not like his father, enough of stories, I need to see someone" she said and blushed.
"Who is that?" Isabel asked a bit eager
" Prince Lucas" she replied blushing.
" The prince that visits you sometimes?"
"Yes, let's go"
The ladies went ahead to greet the prince.
"It's been a long time, Tasha" the young man whom he called his Cousin said
"Yes,Luke. It's been a while" she replied and faced one of the prince.
"Lucas, I'm glad you are here" she said looking directly in to his eyes.
"I can't reject the king's invitation,you know?" He said and smiled at Tasha "How have you been Isabel? He asked facing her.
"I've been good"
"You are still the quite type"
"That's her nature,by the way Cousin,this is Isabel,a princess from another kingdom but for some reasons she is living here" Tasha said facing luke.
"Oh,hi Isabel" Luke said she said offering and handshake which Isabel took delightedly.
"We would leave you guys for sometime" said Lucas who was holding Tasha's hand.
" I can't wait for you guys to get wed" one of the prince said and everyone laughed.
After the King has addressed and welcomed the guest, feasting began. Foods and wines was served followed by musics, some people danced to entertain the visitors. Isabel was unable to meet with the prince because he was busy with the guests. She felt dizzy and decided to get rest some rest in her chamber.
On her way to her chamber, someone behind called her name. She looked back and saw Luke, he had fierce brown eyes and curly hairs like Williams.
"Sorry I had to stop you,I just felt like accompanying you" he said as he looked at her with dazzling eyes.
" Actually I'm going to my chamber to rest" she replied
"I might just see you off then" he said " Someone as beautiful with this eyes Should be accompanied" he said jokingly.
"My maids are here though but thanks"she replied and smiled.
They talked as they walked together.
"What kingdom are you from?" He asked
"A kingdom a bit far from here"
"I stay in this Kingdom even though it's a place from this palace"
"Oh, okay. Are you going to stay in the palace for today since your place is far from here.
"No,I can't stay. I have to go"
"Okay,this my chamber" She said when they got there
"I guess I have to leave,see you some other times"he said and smiled which Isabel returned.
Isabel laid on her bed to rest but she ended up sleeping.
The ceremony was already coming to an end when the sky was becoming dark, the guests were already taking there leaves. The prince also has already left the hall, he was heading to Isabel's chamber. When he got there, he didn't want to wake her up but he sat beside her. He brushed her hair with his fingers, he touched her face and stared for long. Isabel moved her hands,which made Williams quickly withdraw his hands from her face and did as if he had done nothing.
"Willams?" Isabel asked as she opened her eyes
"Yes, it's me. I came in a while ago"
"I'm sorry I slept off" she said as she sat up
"You don't have to be sorry, Isabel".
"I haven't been able to wish you a Happy birthday today"
"The guest were too much that's why I was unable to come to you"
" I understand but I have a gift for you " she said and brought out a large box from the table beside her and handed it to him. He opened the box and found a folded cloth.
"I made this cloth from knitting, I have been doing it secretly for sometime"
"Wow,this is beautiful" he said admiring the cloth "Did you learn how to knit?"
"No,it's a natural gift"
"I love your talent,it's amazing" he said and smiled at her
Williams and Isabel stayed in the room for sometime discussing.
"Williams, it's getting late. You should go to your Chamber.
"I want to watch you sleep" he said
"But I can see you are already dozing"
"Me? No, I'm not" he lied
According to what he said,he watched her sleep off.
Early morning,the next day. Isabel, who was still on bed changed her position but her hands touched something that looks flat and hard.
She got sensitive, she touched it again, the structure she touched was hard. She slowly opened her right eyes and looked beside her, she saw her hands laying on a chest. Doubting what she saw she opened her two eyes and stood upright immediately then suddenly she screamed out loudly.
