The groundwork

My name is Eileen and what I'm about to tell you is quite intense, but lets start from the beginning. I came back to Forks to live with my father Charlie. I haven't been back here long but I made some friends, like Jessica for example. It was my first day at a new school and she befriended me although I was so standoffish. I also got to see my best friend Jacob after not seeing him in forever. He's grown up so much and is so handsome now, but there's also this guy named Edward and he's not there much. To be honest I thought he was quite handsome, I was so entranced by him and I'm not sure as to why I felt such an attachment to him. I don't think he felt attached to me at first though. He whole heartedly seemed disgusted by me. That kind of hurt me more than it should've cause I don't even know him, so why should I care? Time went by slow. That kind of slow that's kind of like when you watch a clock tick and every minute feels like an hour, well everyday felt like a lifetime for things were becoming "odd" to say the least.

As time went by painfully slow I got the chance to connect with Jacob and I learned I really enjoyed being close to him. every time I received a hug from him it felt genuine and full of this caring energy. Enough energy to light a whole town for our sparks were flying. He had matured so much over the time we spent away from each other, yet he was still this kind boy I had grown up with in my youth. Even though I enjoyed my time with him thoroughly I couldn't help but think of Edward. Him and his family only showed up to school when it was dark and gloomy out, it was odd. He seemed to avoid me until he had no choice but to save me. For Tyler's van had nearly hit me and It should've but Edward stopped it. When I say that I mean by his strength alone... He had no choice but to answer me now. We started talking slowly but surely I could tell he was opening up to me. I really started to like him and how kind he turned out to be.

Weeks passed and Edward managed to steal my heart and I his. My love for him hit the ground running at a million miles a second. After what happened with the van accident in the parkinglot it was revealed to me that he was different. He wasn't human. He was cold to the touch yet I still felt his warmth with his words. He wasn't like me and that was okay, he didn't need to be. It was  unrealistic though and all I could do is see him through rose tinted glasses. He was a vampire, but I could care less. My teenage heart needed him nonetheless. I mention rose tinted glasses though because.. well... I guess it's time to show you how things went down.

*Eileen is sleeping and is suddenly feeling watched, a pair of eyes glare at her with an intensity that felt like it could touch you* Looking up she sees Edward standing in the corner of her room. Even though there was this intense stare down occurring she somehow felt relieved. upon asking what he was doing he simply responded "I like to watch you sleep". To her this wasn't a sign of a red flag she thought of it as cute. She just thought it was normal because he was a vampire and he became quite protective over her, she couldn't see that he was more than protective though. It was a possessive side of him,  side that needed to constantly watch her. Blinded by love like one would be blinded by the "skin of a killer" he had in the rays of the sun. He was a smooth talker and his words were followed by his actions. Climbing into bed with her moving on top of her slowly yet sensually, Edward started to move his big hands from the bottom of her calf upwards.

Moving past her knee up her soft thigh she felt under his spell. Ignoring the fact that he was watching her sleep in her room in the middle of the night. With each movement of his hand she fell harder for him. Each touch sending an intense sensation down her spine. She had closed her eyes by mere innocent action. Yet Edward didn't like that. He wanted her, he wanted all of her. He wanted her eye contact, he wanted her to see his immense connection to her and that he wanted to please her but let Eileen know that she is "his". He grabbed her face forcefully yet carefully putting his hand on either side of her face cupping it and pulling her head forward. He leaned in leaving no space to even breath, it was suffocating but the reality of him closing in was intoxicating. Edward then said "If you close your pretty little eyes again you wont like the outcome. You are mine Eileen and you need to learn to understand that. I need you to witness what I'm about to do to you.". Something had changed, he seemed like he was about to rip her apart. He was still gentle for the most part but he was rough with his words and that was scary.
