Iritado akong bumangon mula sa kama at tumungo sa pintuan na kanina pa may katok nang katok. It's been one month since we arrived here in Al Varia. And every time I remember what Tita Cora said I feel like I'm going crazy thinking about what's going on.

I let out a heavy sigh. Muli na namang bumalik sa aking isipan ang pag-uusap namin noon.

"Well, Sol will probably transfer at the University here in Al Varia. She will study here the same as her cousins and of course, Felix Clemente. The heiress of Clemente." Tita Cora said, smiling at me.

"What are you trying to say, Cora?" Mom asked.

"What am I trying to say is that, you should tame the heiress of Clemente, Sol?" Tita Cora said, with a smirk on her lips. My forehead creased.

"Cora! Stop it," may pagbabanta sa boses ni Mom.

Tita Cora shook her head. "Liliane. You act as if you don't know about this. Noon pa ay napag-usapan na natin 'to. Also, Felix didn't know her because she didn't grow up here unlike her cousins. And lastly, I know that her beauty can tame their heiress. She has the power of Vanidestine," she said.

After that conversation with them, they just disappeared. Hindi ko na sila nakita pa nitong nagdaang mga araw. Even my Mom.

"Good morning sleepyhead!" Bihis na bihis siya at handa nang umalis. Nakailang irap na 'ko sa dahil sa kaniya.

"Sol! Maligo ka na. We will tour you sa University di'ba?" aniya. Kumunot ang noo ko at halos hilahin ko na ang buhok ko sa iritasyon.

"It's still five in the morning!" I irritatedly said. She shook her head. "Nope. Isang oras ka maligo at isang oras din sa pag-aayos mo. Kaya tama lang."

Napa-iling ako at dumiretso na lang sa bathroom. I wore my Puff-Sleeve top and Wide Leg Cotton Pants. Nang matapos ay naisipan ko nang bumaba.

Namangha ako nang makarating kami sa University. Just like my University in Manila, malaki rin. But it looks more peaceful here.

Many people here greeted Sien and Pixie. Mukhang kilala sila ng mga tao rito dahil Vanidestine sila. They toured me around. Namangha naman ako at kahit papaano ay nalibang.

Pauwi na sana kami nang may lumapit na professor at kinausap ang dalawa. Sa huli ay naiwan ako dahil may kailangan silang puntahan. Gusto nila akong isama pero tumanggi ako. I chose to wait for them.

But I got easily bored so I decided to go out from university to buy water in the small store that I saw earlier. Mas hassle kung sa cafeteria pa.

While walking heading at the store, I saw a tall man and a girl. The girl was crying. But the tall man is just looking at her without any reaction. Habang ang babae ay umiiyak at may hawak na box.

"Ang sakit mo namang mahalin!" the girl shouted then walked away. Binagsak pa nito ang hawak na box.

I noticed that the man is wearing a jersey shorts and basketball shoes. I watched him picked up the box. Binuksan niya ito dahilan na makita ko kung ano 'yon. It's cupcakes. Sira na ang design dahil sa pagkahulog.

Inakala kong kinuha niya ang box para kaniya dahil sayang. But he gave it to the three homeless kids instead.

"Brian. Ito, sa inyo na lang. Cupcake 'to kaya masarap 'yan. Magpakabusog kayo. Hati-hati kayo r'yan," he said to those kids.

"Wow! Dati chocolate, tapos ngayon cupcake! Salamat ulit, Kuya Lix," the little girl said.

I was busy watching them when suddenly someone tapped my tight. I was shocked that I stepped back and almost tripped. I let out a sigh when I realised that it's just one of the homeless kids.
