Not only had the universe decided to give him a mate but his mate just happened to be a high elf of royalty?!.After the trial had finished he’d taken you to his quarters and explained the vampire concept of mates to you before you in turn explained to him what the concept of ‘finding your one’ meant to elves. Once you’d spent one or two months with him in Volterra you took him to Imladris to meet your father, Lord Elrond. He got along well with your father but your brothers were another issue.They constantly questioned your relationship however your father told you to pay no mind to them as they had no idea how much joy a soulmate could bring.Caius however, took as much of his free time as he could with you in Imladris.
