I was standing next to my father captain crow I then heard movement.
"It's the red bluster i know it in me bones see there"He said pointing.
"Birds follow it"said father.
"We come all this way for a proper fight"I heard Jacob say.
Making me roll my eyes.
"And we'll get it,me boy"said father.
He then faced me and Jacob.
"It's been 30 years since that thing took me deadlight now i'll have my revenge"
"Aye"Said jacob
"You're right father we just hope we can get this creature"I said with a bold smile.
"Well we've passed rum pepper island it's heading for dregmorr sea"
She said getting a small bottle of rum and then drank it.
"If we're gonna do battle with the greatest and most terrible thing in the sea it's not the best to wait right after"
"There might not be an after"
"Oh don't be like that jacob"
I said hitting his back he looked at me smirking he then took the rum and drank some of it.
"Haul away all!haul you dogs!"
"Captain!"
Dad looked up.
"It's another hunting ship under attack!"
"It's jim nicklebones ship"
"It looks like he's found a brickleback"
"I'd say it found him"
"Well we should help him"I said to father.
"What course captain?"
"We press on"
"What?"
Me and jacob asked at the same time.
"If jim nickbones were half the sea dog he says he is,he wouldn't be in this mess"said father which shocked me completely.
"Captain you know the code"said Jacob.
"It binds us to all who come before wnd all who come after"
I said looking at my father's back.
"And even that rum gagger jim nicklebones"
He then turned around.
"Ms.merino set a new course"
"Aye captain"
Dad walked away groaning.
"Thirty years I've waited"
