chapter five

We would finish this year already with our little girl.
I held the first picture of her in my hand and Aleksi hugged me. So we sat in the car for a while.

A few days later I had told my chef at work and could now already stay home.
So the festival summer could come now...
And we managed fortunately to hide my pregnancy 2 more weeks from the others.

There were regular gigs of the guys and I almost always went with them.
Minna also tried to be there as much as possible.
It was Sunday and another full weekend would now pass with the gig.
I was with Minna in the fan crowd and after the gig Santeri took us to the backstage to the others.

When Aleksi saw me, he hugged me directly, kissed me and asked if I was okay.
He was so loving and almost more caring than usual.
I smiled at him nodding and then whispered in his ear that I would like to tell everyone now.
Aleksi grinned from ear to ear and got us all something to drink. In the meantime, of course, I greeted the other guys, as well as the crew.

Aleksi was the first to give me a glass, and he handed me a pink cocktail - of course without alcohol. So it wouldn't be so noticeable and it disturbed no one, because I often drank cocktails together with Minna.

We got into a circle and Joel started telling us that another successful festival weekend was ending and it was wonderful.
Before he was about to toast, Aleksi interrupted him and said: "I have to interfere for a moment".

He looked at me and I said: "Well, first of all I would like to thank you for letting me accompany you everywhere, you have really become like a second family in the last few months.
No matter what, you are always there. And I want you to continue to share in my life....
So I have to tell you that unfortunately, as a family, you are slipping down the ladder a little bit because this winter is going to be special and we are celebrating as a new family.... We are getting a new member..."

The boys looked a bit confused and didn't quite understand, only Minna was literally freaking out with joy.
So I finally let the secret out of me, Aleksi stood diagonally to me and put his hand around my waist.
I finally said happily: "Guys...and Minna of course...I'm pregnant...", at this sentence Aleksi put his hand on my belly and stroked it with a grin.
