Len Kagamine: Servant Of Evil

Chapter 1

I dazed dreamily at the large green field. Flowers stood beautifully and the breeze brought a sweet scent in the air. The birds chirped so sweetly that the children would stop playing for awhile and listen as they sung a soothing melody.

Occasional squeals would be heard from the screaming of the children playing. But at the corner of my eye, two twin siblings caught my eye.

A little girl in a dainty white sundress held up a laurel she made from the flowers she had picked. Carefully, she placed it onto her twin brother's head. Both of them burst into laughter before running off to play.

I let out a smile. It was like with Rin...

Childhood was like a false cover of the real world. It made everything seem so sweet while the world was so dark and cruel. Filled with hatred and selfishness. I would rather stay in my childhood, cherish it more while i could. For when you grow up, the shield slowly falls apart, exposing you to the evil world out there. Ignorance is truly a bliss, how children are able to play so carefree.

(Rin's POV)

I sat in the cafe, l keeping my eyes on the church a few meters away as its bells tolled away.

Flashes of memories with Len bubbled in my mind.

How I wondered how he was doing. How was his life. Maybe ,most importantly how he looked. I was so curious. But no matter how much I tired how hard i concentrated i could not remember how he looked like. Yes, it must be a little embarrassing to say that. Okay a lot. I must be a really bad twin sister. But, I mean, it was like 10 years ago and I was only 4 then.

"Cappuccino for imouto-chan!" a chirpy waitress with a high bun, rosy cheeks and white apron carried a tray in her hands. I looked on with disgust.I've already lost faith in humanity long ago. It just isn't fair. How come she has a better more perfect life, i don't get it. How come she deserves more happiness than me? Life just isn't fair.
