‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ EMMELINE WALKER WAS HER MOTHER'S DAUGHTER. She carried within her that gleam of unpolished diamonds and free-spirited whiles, broke though molds and expectations like her parents.

Emmeline was a child of wonder wrapped in the gentle cocoon of whimsical mystery, bathed in flower petals and made of dragon's breath.

From the moment yellow parchment wrapped in wonder and the beginnings of her youth landed on her windowsill, carried in the beak of a large owl — Emmeline knew she was destined for greater things than just normality. Like her mother and father, there would be another generation of witches and wizards in the family.

When Emmeline was eleven years old, a hat was placed on her small head and proclaimed her to be a misty-eyed Ravenclaw with a flair for puzzles and adventures, leading her to magnetize with none other than Gryffindor's very own; Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley.

The best two years of her life followed suit, filled with adventures of club-bearing trolls, three-headed dogs, giant snakes, and the deafening whispers and biting nightmares of prophecy. Emmeline Walker, although stuffed to the brim with more action than most kids her age, craved more. She wanted to be the spitting image of her mother, who laid in her heart like sifting sand, constantly disappearing with the wind.

Half-blood and full spirit, Emmeline was forced to undo the secrets of her mother's tragic death in her third year, facing an adventure that cracked open her skull and left her a mess of silvery substance upon the Hogwarts floor. Her father, gone mad with the loss of his wife, hardly remembered his daughter, only that she looked too eerily similar to his late wife.
