Jasmine and Joshua are two black teenagers that became deeply in love over time. But they started off being really good friends. Sometimes in this society that we live in people want you to live to their standards and not your own. Joshua dated Jasmine's bff for two years until shit went left.. but when it did the person who stuck with him the most was Jasmine. She called him, texted him, made sure he had food, everything she did was her making sure he wasn't alone. Within the process of her caring for him it was also healing her from her painful past. Jasmine didn't remember what it felt like to have someone care about her and be there for her whether she needed them or not. As time progressed Joshua healed and even Jasmine was happier then she was prior to Joshua's situation. Not only did they eat lunch together at school but they walked to and from school together, they sat together at school football games, they worked together, they practically did everything together because they enjoyed each other's company.
