Silence (p_s this is the part you check out my storyyyy, her silence. Lol I'm just joking. #not)

      Silence

If the rain is falling, it could drown out my tears.
I stare at my reflection not knowing who I've become.
Isn't it funny? They told me to face my fears,
To tell you the truth I've always wondered how it can be done.

So I wandered on a journey alone,
Left no footprints for one to follow.
Both sunshine and rain, through storms and sea,
I gnashed my teeth to hide the sorrow.

You can call me a sojourner,
Bummer! a runner?
Running from the truth,
Running from my future.

You can call me a coward?
Say I'm too forward?
Groping for a future
That doesn't even exist.

When you need the world the most, you're greeted by it's silence
And then you'd realize life is all about resilience.
