".. You fucking psycho!"

It went silent for a moment. Wilbur was dead silent at her words. Elaine kept her eyes focused on him. This is awkward.

"W-what is going on..?" Tubbo mumbled. I knew he would not want to hear this right now.

"It's fiiine, you know. Just mild miscommunication" I scratched the back of my neck amidst the awkward moment.

"W-what..?" He confusedly asked, obviously very tired. He fell asleep not very long after that.

"Will, I don't know who I'm staring at anymore" she rubbed her eyelids. Shit is getting real. Wilbur glared at her.

"I thought you out of everyone would know that Schlatt is someone who would manipulate Tubbo to be his spy" Wilbur shot back. Elaine calmed down a bit.

"I'm not in the mood to hear your bullshit, and I'm not gonna leave you alone with Tommy nor Tubbo, so I politely ask you to go to your room" she sighed, mostly disappointed. He huffed and left without a word.

"That went well" I remarked, to which she glared at me harshly. I shrunk under her gaze. She could be really threatening if she wants to. There aren't many things the great Tommyinnit is afraid of, but Elaine is one of them.

"I feel like shit" she rubbed her face. She looked like shit as well.

"You look like shit as well" I told her. She approached me.

"Woah, wait, Elaine. It was a joke!" I nervously laughed. She got extremely close and I rambled on, but she passed me. Oh thank god. Could've lost my life there.

"Tubbo. You poor thing" she sympathized. I don't have a younger brother or sister, so I don't know how she'd feel, so I should probably stay quiet here. But then again, it's going to be worse to not say anything.

"Do you think Schlatt will look for him?" I asked her. She sighed.

"He will, but I won't let him" she replied, holding his hand. I awkwardly left the ravine. She might want a moment with him.

Dream POV

Elaine

That's all I could think about

I made a mistake

In a single day, I lost two people who were the closest to me. Sapnap still hasn't returned to the community house. I haven't seen him since he left. George has been distant as well. He told me that he needed space. I let him be.

Ellie. My Ellie. I'm sorry

It wasn't your fault. It was mine. I just wish I had the courage to tell you it was.

You were my world. Now I'm in the void.

*ding*

I opened my eyes. My communicator. I got up from my bed and put on the mask. Who is trying to reach me in this hour?

I pulled out my communicator and saw that it was from Schlatt. I made a deal with him, but that doesn't mean I take orders from him.

I sighed and checked the messages.

Schlatt

Dream come to my office
Its about Manburg

Dream

Its 2am

Schlatt

Just get over here
I know your not sleeping

Dream

Fine

I got up and got my armour and weapons ready. Time to meet the president.

When he got to the White House

I opened the door to his office and saw him behind his desk, looking over Manburg.

"Is knocking overrated? Noone knocks anymore" he commented, not averting his gaze. I don't care about his unnecessary talk.

"Let's cut this short" I told him. He finally turned to look at me with red eyes.

"Right. Don't want to waste your precious time now" he snarled. I crossed my arms.

"What do you want?" I narrowed my eyes on him.

"Someone's in a bad mood" he chuckled. I grumbled under my breath.

"If you intend to waste my time, I will take my leave" I warned him. He chuckled.

"Alright, alright, I'll cut to the chase" he paused. I'm almost convinced he called me to piss me off.

"As you can see, Manburg is flourishing. We banished those worms from our great nation and I can already feel the improvement" he ranted. Where is he going with this?

"I want our sphere of influence to spread beyond our given land" that caught my attention. Land? He wants to expand onto the Dreamsmp? He really thinks I'll give it to him.

"What?" I asked, to confirm. He turned back around.

"I've already started construction on the outside" he stated, gesturing to the window. I didn't like this for a second. But I know if I refuse he'll threaten the book.

"Do you plan to expand further into our land?" I asked him, holding back my urge to object. He grinned.

"Maybe, we'll see. I have a hunch that the outcasts will seek revenge" he sat down and gestured me to do the same. I didn't want to sit.

"Have a seat. No need to stand" he offered, but I refused. I can't be off guard for a moment in this office.

"No thanks" I simply replied. I need that book. That's all I'm here for.

"Come on, nothing's sketchy about a fucking chair" he tried to talk me into it, but I wasn't going to make myself look vulnerable.

"When do I get the book, Schlatt" I asked, more of threatened. His face dropped.

"I can't give you a specific time" he replied seriously. I scrunched my nose, but noone could see it of course.

"My patience is limited Schlatt" I warned him again. He sighed.

"I'm the one who has the book here. So your gonna have to stretch your fucking patience" he sneered. I hate his bravery. Or stupidity. He's the only person I'm actually wary of.

"And also," he added.

"Where is my daughter?"
