Chapter 6. Vyborg

- Well, what are we going to do? - Alex asked as soon as Anya entered the room.
- Well, let's eat first! We still have food from Mcdonald's left! – licking his lips, Roma replied.
- Cold? Is it delicious? – the girl asked.
- We have a microwave! - Alex said.
- Won't make any noise? - Anya asked anxiously.
- No, we've already checked it, it's almost silent.
The guys warmed up the food and ate their fill. After that, they staged a pillow fight and did not notice how much noise they made. Footsteps sounded in the corridor.
- Quickly, let's go to bed!
Alex turned off the light and quickly dived into his bed, and Roma, taking Anya in his arms, lay down and pressed her against the wall so that the girl would not be noticed. The door opened.
- What is that noise?! – the teacher asked, but stopped abruptly when he saw that everyone was asleep.
After standing for another two minutes, the man left, and the guys exhaled with relief.
- I didn't seem to notice, - said Roma, still pressing Anya against the wall.
- Mbmmabml! – came from the girl.
- Oh, I'm sorry! – the guy quickly stood up, freeing Anya from his embrace.
- Ugh, I almost suffocated! And I'm not supposed to hold my breath at all! – stretching her limbs, the girl also sat up on the bed.
Turning their heads to Alex, the guys noticed a happy grin with a sly squint.
- What? – they asked in one voice.
- You were just lying in the same bed, tightly pressed against each other. Are you really just friends? - Alex said.
Roma and Anya exchanged glances and blushed sharply.
- L-let's forget this situation? - The girl asked quietly.
- Yes, of course, - the guy answered just as quietly.
Awkwardness hung between the guys, and after talking a little more, everyone went to sleep in their beds.
Alex woke up a little before the alarm clock. After pouring himself some water, he looked at his friends. Roma and Anya slept in the same position, despite the fact that they were in different beds. "Just like soulmates" flashed through the young man's mind. "They really are perfect for each other."
After thinking a little more, Alex woke up the girl. She still had to walk to her room and pack her things. A little later, Roma also woke up.
Rice porridge, scrambled eggs and pancakes with raspberry jam were served at breakfast. While everyone was eating, Roma thought about Anya's health, and immediately asked her about it:
- An, physical activity is contraindicated for you, can you really go?
- It's all right, don't worry, - the girl replied. – I have warned my attending physician and teachers, in which case I will immediately receive the necessary medical care.
- Well, all right, - Roma breathed out. – But if it gets bad, tell me right away!
After receiving a nod of agreement from Anya, the guy returned to eating.
The class got safely to the right place, and everyone got on the bus. It's a 2-hour drive to the first stop, so the guys decided to play cards.
- Oh, no, everything will be written down to me again! - Alex exclaimed desperately after another loss. – I already have 50 points in "mountain"!
- Come on, we're not playing for money, - Anya giggled.
- I don't like cards at all, I have zeros everywhere, - said Roma.
- Exactly! - Alex said resentfully. – You don't have a single digit in the "mountain"!
- But you don't have one in the "bullet" either.
- But you picked up the "whists", already under 80! – having examined the table, the girl exclaimed. – How is this even possible?!
Roma just shrugged his shoulders. Soon the guys got tired, and they switched to "Truth or Dare".
- Anya, Truth or Dare? - Alex asked the girl.
- Truth.
- What is your dream?
- Hmm, - Anya thought. – At the moment – to dance at the prom, probably.
- Wow, - said Roma. – Well, it will be fulfilled very soon!
- Yeah, - the girl nodded with a smile.
The bus stopped abruptly, and the teachers reported the first stop. The guys came to a village near the Finnish border. There they were given a tour of the churches and walked through the local museums. After a few more bus stops, the class finally reached Vyborg.
There they divided into two groups: one went to the Burgher's House, and the second to the Knight's House. Alex, Roma and Anya, of course, were together. First they went to the Burgher's House. On the second floor, where they were taken first, there was a souvenir shop. The guys walked around a bit there, looked at plush toys, traditional sweets, but they didn't like anything. Then they went to the first floor. Several tourists were already sitting there, who were also tired of the second floor. When the others came up, a guy in a funny outfit came into the room. He told the story of Vyborg, simultaneously dressing accidentally caught tourists in historical costumes. Then traditional Vyborg dishes were offered for tasting: glegg and pretzel. Glegg was liked by all the guys, but Anya didn't like the pretzel – there were raisins there, which the girl couldn't stand.
Then the groups changed, and now the friends were in the Knight's House. A man dressed in a suit, respectively, a knight, told the story of the city from a military point of view. Then he called Alex and Roma to him and dressed them in a knight's chain mail. Anya looked at them and giggled, and the guys felt uncomfortable in heavy armor. After a while, the man finished his story, and the friends went to look at various weapons and costumes that were in the hall, and even tried on some things.
They had another half hour before the general gathering, so the guys went to the basement of the Knight's House, where another guy in an executioner's costume was already talking about medieval tortures and devices. Alex found this particularly interesting.
The next day the guys had a free day until 19:00. Friends walked around the city, visited the castle, went to souvenir shops. In general, nothing interesting. But in the evening the show began: in the local tower "Fat Catherine" the class celebrated the New Year. In parallel with the dinner at the restaurant there was a costume performance: the story was about two brothers. One brother, enchanted by a beautiful fairy from the forest, betrayed the second.
Friends had their own priorities: Anya was enthusiastically watching the play, Roma was greedily eating dishes, and Alex was just talking to other guys. When the performance was over, and there were no topics for conversation, the guy and the girl also started eating. And so the New Year came.
In the remaining days, except for a trip to a country rodeo, where friends threw tomahawks, fired pistols and tried to "kill" a bull, there was nothing interesting, and the class returned home. There was still a week of holidays, so a couple of days later Roma invited Alex to visit him.
- Well, how are you? – asked a friend of the guy, going into the apartment.
- Yes, everything is fine, it seems, - said Roma. - Only Anya is back in the hospital, they took her for examination.
- Oh, poor thing, she'll spend the rest of her vacation in the ward, -Alex said sadly.
- I don't like it - the guy said, frowning. – She is often "examined". For the second time in a month!
- Yes, not good beginning of the year, - nodded a friend. – Maybe we should visit her? Find out what and how?
- You know, it's not a bad idea! – after a little reflection, Roma was inspired, and ran to get dressed. And Alex, still remained waiting at the threshold.
Anya barely opened her eyes. The noise and screams outside interrupted her sleep at the most interesting moment. She didn't want to get up, but what was happening outside the ward forced the girl to put her feet on the floor.
- Roma? Alex? - Anya said in surprise, looking out the door.
The guys and the nurse, blocking their way, shouted out the voice. The latter began to justify herself:
- I'm sorry, for God's sake, that we woke you up, but these two were trying to get to you, even though I said you were asleep!
- It's okay, let them in.
The guys followed the girl into the ward, and while Anya lay down on the couch, Roma asked uncertainly:
- Ann, is everything okay with your health? This is the second time in a month you've been to the hospital for a checkup.
The girl confidently answered "Yes", but Alex noticed a flash of sadness in her eyes. Shaking his head in displeasure, he asked his friend to leave.
