Hello! And welcome to this smutty fan fic. Our story begins at the start of the show/manga, but follows different characters. We meet the characters in Asakusa before they show up in episode 10. There will be notes of where the episodes fit in with the story... but after the events of season 2, this story goes in a bit of a different direction than the manga, in order to keep company 7 as the main characters.

The characters you know and love from Fire Force (in order of appearance in the fic):
Shinmon Benimaru - Captain of the 7th district Fire Force. Grumpy (and definitely depressed, whether or not he knows it). Absolute babe. Sweetheart. The strongest fire soldier in the world, able to use both 2nd and 3rd gen pyrokinetics.
Sagamiya Konro - Lieutenant of the 7th district Fire Force. Tired gem of a man. Wants to run his own soba shop one day. Beni's mentor.
Joker - Vigilante and former assassin for the Holy Sol Temple.
The Twins (Hina and Hika) - Feisty little fox pyro girls living at the station under the care of Konro and Beni.
Granny - The sweet old woman in Asakusa who makes Daifuku. I would die for her. I give her the name Mei in this story.
Maki Oze - Strong, badass, 2nd Gen fire soldier at the 8th.
Hinawa - Lieutenant at the 8th. 2nd Gen. Cute glasses. Great cook.
Obi - Capitan of the 8th. Glorious himbo.
Shinra - The main character of Fire Force with an unyielding hero complex. He is not the main character here. 8th.
Arthur - Shinra's bff/rival (as anime do). Will still be saying funny shit in this fic. 8th.
Princess Hibana - Captain of the 5th. Bitch. (They did her character development dirty, imo. I try to give her some character development that doesn't involve her simping for a 16 year old.)
Vulcan - God of the Forge. Unpowered, brilliant engineer. Babe.
General Oze - Maki's Dad. Military General.
Original Characters: (I thought the cast could use some additional strong female characters <3)
Y/n - Guerrilla gardener, disgruntled Haijima employee. Hippie child. Unpowered, but still a badass.
Mara - 3rd Gen Fire Soldier. Y/n's best friend. God tier badass.
Akio and Haru - Just some cool guys who work at the 7th.
Gaku - Grumpy old man in Asakusa. One of the first 3rd Gen Pyrokinetics.
Young Gaku - Is pretty shamelessly based off Toji Fushiguro because... I can't help it... He's so hot.
Jewels - Ambassador from the Euro Empire. Living in the Tokyo Empire.
Shay - Assistant to the Euro Ambassador.
Vic - Ambassador from the Toyko Empire living in the Euro Empire.
Azula - Advisor to the Euro Ambassador.
*In this fanfic, we learn that the Tokyo Empire isn't the only civilization that exists post apocalypse (hence the new "Euro Empire" characters above). However, to maintain control over the people, that information is not widely known in the Tokyo Empire.
Tropes/topics you can expect to see:
- He'd burn the world for you.
- Everyone is going to process their trauma. (Hurt-comfort is physical and emotional.)
- Fluff and smut
- The dead mother (while this is a trope, it is also my lived experience...)
- Shibari is the only real part of BDSM that shows up in the smut, and it's soft. Most characters are a Switch to some degree.
- Separate love interests and romantic subplots for Konro, Vulcan, and Obi (so far)
- "Gender is dead" and sexuality. Our characters are comfortable in who they are. Some are Bi, Pan and Demi, wear unisex clothing or cross dress, lean into their genders sometimes, actively push back against them other times, etc.
Tropes you absolutely will not see:
- Pregnancy. No one is having babies in this fic.
- Female characters giving up their powers to save the world. Nah. They can save the world and keep their powers.
- Shitty, toxic men as love interests. There's enough of that in real life. All these guys are genuinely kind people, and they care deeply about their friends and partners.
IF YOU ARE JUST HERE FOR THE SMUT:
- First of all, I respect that.
- You don't need a ton of context for the smut chapters. There are some "sexplanations" but for the most part, they are spicy times between two (or three 👀) characters who already have established relationships with each other. If you are jumping to a smut chapter and want additional context as to what is going on, feel free to comment, and I can catch you up!
- I'm putting a "*" at the end of the titles of the spicy chapters so you can jump to them. The first few chapters are slow burn with all the cute fun tension that comes with it. This marking/ designation idea for smut chapters was a reader request 😊.
- I try to toss some form of intimacy in most of the chapters, so I'm not sure what % of a chapter needs to be smut for it to be a smut chapter lol. If you have feedback on that, let me know!
