" Honey can you go grab the groceries from Seth and Leya, their outside" Lorna yelled down the stairs. " Yes ma'am" I yelled up the stairs.
Seth was a friend of mine from younger years our parents grew up together. Leya is his older sister, she doesn't talk much but when she does she's a bitch. They both radiate this animal energy like if they wanted to they could kill with one whack. But there has always been something weird about them. They're from a group of people That all stick together like a pack of wolves. I walked out the door, then stopped. There he was..... Jacob, the sexy loner he's usually by himself. He's been different ever since his best friend from childhood died from an unknown case. she was found in the everyone says it was an animal attack, not me tho. I know something is out there, wait for blood. He looked up at me with his black empty eyes staring straight into my soul . (In her mind) " why do I feel like this, like a deep pit in my stomach". My heart starts pumping faster each step I take towards him .
As I get close he looks away. "What's up bestie" Seth says as he jumps down from the back of the old beaten up truck. "Just getting some homework done" I say looking at my feet. I hear Jacob mutter under his breath "can we leave " while looking at Leya. Leya looks at him " why don't you go help her carry the groceries in Jacob " while she hands him them. Jacob storms passed me with the groceries with seth. Leya looks at me and says " keep your eyes to yourself" then gets in the truck. They both walked back then left just as fast as they showed up.
That night all I could think about was Jacob, his dark eyes his musky smell. Then I realized something about him got me in a weird spell.
