Chapter 5

~Rebecca's POV~

It's now officially summer break and im sitting on the couch watching luke flip through channels trying to find something to watch

"Are you done now?" I roll my eyes at him

"Fine" he said annoyed putting on Keeping Up With The Kardashians

Me and luke have gotten pretty close these few weeks. Me and Micheal graduated, the rest of the guys had gone and supported us. My mom was actually at work...it sucked. But i was still happy at least the guys were there. and if you were wondering. I still hate Micheal. I mean he's okay, but he's still an asshole.

"Wanna do something today" Luke said looking over to me

"Like what" i asked looking up at him

"Well Ashton is having a party tonight, and i was wondering if you would be my date?" He cheeks turning pink

"Of course I'll be your date, but you know how i am with party's." I say with a weak smile

"It's gonna be okay ill be there" he says kissing my cheek making my cheeks heat up. "Well i've got to go so I'll see you at 8, alright? It'll be okay, i promise." He said while getting up from the couch and wandering down the hallway towards the door.

"Okay. Bye!" I half yell to him

"Bye" he says shutting the door behind him

It's now 7:46 and im downstairs getting a quick snack just incase i do drink... but im still not sure about this whole 'party' thing. I may be 18, but i hate party's, and drinking, and dancing. like you cant even turn around because the place is too crowded. Guys always get too close and just the smell of alcohol, smoke... and just the loud music.. it gives me headaches. I don't even know why i said yes to all of this, but i mean if Luke is there with me, i don't see why i shouldn't go. I do need to have a good time once in a while.

I was broken by my thoughts when there was a knock at the front door

There's no way out now.

I take a deep breath, straighten out my dress and head down the hallway towards the door. I get greeted by a smiling luke.

"You look beautiful" he says grabbing my hand while shutting the door behind us with the other

"Thank you" i say blushing "you don't look bad youself"

We get into the car and head to ashtons house. The rest of the car ride was silent, not awkward..but enjoyable.

We arrived at least 15 minutes later. There was strobe lights shining out from the living room windows and music so loud you could feel fhe vibrations from the driveway. As we walked up to the door There's couples with eachothers tongues down eachothers throats. It made me nauseous.

As we walk in we were greeted by a drunk Ashton

"Hey guys!" He giggled "I'm so glad you could make it! Drinks are on the kitchen counter, help yourself!" Then he walked away into the hallway towards the dancing bodys in the living room

"I'm gonna get a drink" luke said letting go of my hand "want one?" He asked waking towards the kitchen

"Sure" i murmured. One drink wont kill right?

He comes back with the drinks and i drink it as fast as I can. I wanna have a good time tonight.

"I'm gonna go find calum, i saw him in the kitchen i'll be right back." He says pecking my lips

"Okay" i say as he turns around and walks away

I decided to go dance for a while cause why not? I throw my cup away on the trash and head to the living room and start dancing.

I could get used to this...

So I've been here for half an hour and luke hasn't come back and im getting worried. So i guess i'm gonna look for him.

I walk into the kitchen where he had he'd be.. and he wasn't. I decided to check upstairs to see if he passed out in a guess room... i walk down the hallway and hear moans coming from the other side of the door...

I barge in the door and see a naked luke above a naked blonde.

"LUKE?! WHAT THE FUCK?!!" I screamed feeling my face heat up with anger

he looked up and stopped what he was doing. His lips stained with her bright red lipstick

"How could you?" I say softly as tears start forming in my eyes

"Rebecca I-" i cut him off my slamming the door and run down the stairs, tears stainin my cheeks. As i was running towards the door i bumb into a familiar face. Then i realise it's Michael.

"Are you okay?" He asked a little woried. "What happened?"

"Luke he- and I saw- and -i" i say between sobs

"Come on... I'll take you home" he said rapping his arm around my waist walking towards the door

We get out and i cry a lot harder than before.

"Hey hey hey" he said hugging me "it's okay..."

"No it's not "

"Yeah it will. Don't say that"

"Why should i believe you?" I spat back "you hate me, you made the rest of the year miserable"

"I didn't mean it! We've gotten a lot closer these past few weeks, i care about you!"

What? Does he mean that?

"Really?" I say softly looking up at him through my eyelashes

"I wouldn't lie about that becca"

"I just wanna go home" i say as we get into the car

He gets in the drivers seat and drives away
