Chapter 3

Aera's POV

"Good to have you here, Aera-shi. How are you feeling today?" the host said starting off the interview. The start of my busy schedule is this morning's show.

"I'm feeling great, today." I smiled at the camera and the host.

"We heard that you are preparing something for AIR?"

"Yes, I and a lot of other people are preparing something special for AIR. I am really enjoying the shoots and recordings so I hope you enjoy it too!" I once again smile brightly.

"I see, I see. Anyway, how does it feel to have a twin in the industry as well?"

"To be honest,it's really great! Being able to see one of your family members almost every other day is a bonus. We try to be civil if we're working though."

"Oh, so you are friends as Aera the soloist and Jake from ENHYPEN?" she asked to confirm.

"That's exactly, what I mean."

"Your friendship with ENHYPEN is really amazing. We assume it's the same with other groups?"

"It is. Though I have been only given the opportunity to meet 4th gen idols mostly from HYBE. But I am friends with other girl groups from other agencies. We are close professionally and we meet during interviews, shows, and photoshoots."

"That's great! How about with the sunbaes? And who are you most close with?" she asked and I know she's only asking this because the audience wants to know.

"The sunbaes are really caring. They use their own experiences to guide us. And... I'm close with other groups but I can say that it is TXT that I'm very close with. You see, they are really friendly, engaging and energetic." I smiled and fixed my sitting position.

"Very well... Hosts on shows and interviews ask this. But are there any TMI today? "

"TMI.... I ate instant ramyeon for breakfast. It tasted good but not healthy for morning.

"That's a TMI...." she giggled and looked at the camera. "After all this. After the shoot, the release, and the promotion... What would you want to give to yourself as a reward?" she changed the topic.

"Oh, firstly, I would rest and just chill at my dorm. You know, just relaxing not thinking of anything else. Just myself. Also I would give myself time. Get to know myself more, make myself happy, entertain myself. Just like what I have been doing for AIR." I smiled. Really, I would want to rest and have time to stop and think about myself.

"I hope you will be able to give yourself time after your upcoming comeback. Before we end this interview, can you give us some spoilers with your facial expression?" Sh asked.

I looked at my manager for not even a second. She signaled me 'Just a little bit' with her hands.

"Sure, also so that AIR will know what they should expect even just a bit." I explained as they focused the camera to my face.

First I made a happy and chill expression, then I made a scared and shocked one. Then lastly I made a smug and cool look.  That's It!

"I've given a lot." I laughed. I saw Manager Kang laughing nervously. Surely AIR will have a lot of theories.

"Yes, thank you very much for your time, Aera-shi. I wish all the best for your upcoming projects."

The interview ended and we stopped at a brunch cafe for lunch. Then went straight to HYBE to record the three songs for my music video and choreography dance practice.

It went smoothly and the music producer was satisfied, I was, as well. Then I had dinner at my changing room at the building.

The room is just a bit smaller then my bedroom and I put some furnitures here so I can rest in this area as well.

As I ate my dinner, my phone rang and Jake was calling.

"Hey! How's everything?" I answered the call.

"It's good. I saw your interview earlier."

"Oh, that's great..." silence followed our conversation. "what are you doing there?" I asked.

"We have just had our dinner. We're resting for now. What about you?"

"I'm currently eating my dinner. I just finished recording three songs. It was great and fun."

"I see.. Then take care there, Aira. Even if you are busy, please take care of yourself. We'll also practice in a bit." He reminded me.

"Jake hyung, let's review the chorus."

I heard Ni-ki's voice from the phone. Then Jake also said he'll be coming in a bit.

"Also you, Jake. Take care of yourself. Bye! Love you" I said goodbye and ended the call. "Love you, too, sis." he replied.

Manager Kang entered the room and as usual, she is with her ipad. She smiled at me and sat on a chair.

"You've done great today, Aera. Please rest for now."

"Thank you, Ms. Kang. Are there any important schedule tonight?"

"Well, there's none. You're free tonight."

"I see." I replied to her statement.

"Even with this information, you're still gonna practice" she sighed. I smiled at how she knew me well.

"That's right. Practice is the only key to a perfect performance."

That night, I practiced my choreography and also practiced my vocals a little. Then I started writing a song for fun. I practiced until my body was tired. So tired that I just took a nap at the floor.

...

My three days focused on the photoshoot of my album, which had three genres...The happy and cool one. The dark one. And the cool (dark), professional one-my tittle track-. After each photoshoot, I also did some comercial photoshoots. It was also filmed for my comeback show.

I went to MusicBank and met with Sunghoon and Wonyoung there. After the interview I told Wonyoung to say hello to her other members. And she shyly said," yes,unnie." then I left.

Ahhh. She's so cute. My relationship with IVE is really great and they really respect me. I don't know why. They said I really accomplished a lot despite being a young solo artist.

There was a lot of practicing going on. I also sang live while dancing at the practice room and even the choreography was really tiring, my voice did not disappoint me.

And I would mostly just dance, put a playlist on and dance. Play instruments and sing whatever comes to my mind.

While I was at it, I made a cover with my piano. A song from Hillsong that Jake really loves. (📣This is a false fact. This is just for my story) I filmed it and posted it in Instagram.

And just like that, the first week of the preparation if the upcoming album is done.

Now, let me give myself a three-day break.

A/N: In this chapter I focused more on the idol life of Aera. Not too much interaction with ENHYPEN. But wait for the next chapter.
